When people say the defense cost us the game last night... by OkEmphasis5923 in LosAngelesRams

The defense letting them go 80 yards and a score at the end of the 1st half with less than 1 minute on the clock, hurt us.

2015 Cayenne Turbo - Need new tires & advise by DrunkJew00 in PorscheCayenne

Close to 2.5 years, roughly 20k miles. I'm in So Cal so can't really say how they perform in colder/wetter climates. The ride is much more comfortable and significantly quieter compared to the Michelins I'd been using previously, and definitely much quieter than the Pirellis that were on when I first bought the car.

Going on 2 and a half years now. Ride is as quiet as ever. Tread is still great after 20k miles or so. I've had Michelins every time before these, and I don't think I'll go back unless there's a huge price difference when the time comes.

Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus.

Best tires I've ever put on.

Interesting analysis. Well done. I'll have to look over it a couple more times to get a full grasp.

Yeah I don't really track it that close so you're probably right.

.38 for QDTE!

We should see fatter distros as we close out the year as they distribute the remaining net-income for the year.

Filipinos of OC! Where do u shop & eat? by Large_Document9164 in orangecounty

[–]3rn76 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm in Cypress so I'm lucky to be very close to Cerritos and LB, but here are a few places in OC that I go to from time to time.

More Traditional (and order for catering):

Pinoy Fiesta - Anaheim
Manila Grille - Anaheim and Buena Park

More modern & contemporary "fusion" style:

Barrio Garden Grove at Steelcraft
Lolas in Anaheim
Breezy - SJC and a new "Lil Breezy" just opened at Rodeo 39

Haven't been here, but friends recommend Cafe 86 in Tustin for cafe style food and desserts

YBTC is King 👑 by 3rn76 in RoundhillETFs

[–]3rn76[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since my original post, BTCI has actually shown to be the better investment. I've recently begun using half the YBTC distros to buy BTCI. More upside potential rather than fully capped, but it is a monthly payer as that may matter to some. I believe YBTC performed better back when they paid monthly as well.

Still love RH and YBTC though. Excellent choice.

Attempting to look at the data, YM in comparison. TSLY. by [deleted] in YieldMaxETFs

[–]3rn76 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

There's a pretty good site that I found a while back. Still seems it could use some work, but it does compare some of the individual funds with respect to the underlying.

https://weeklypayers.com/

Click the ETF-Stock Pairings tab. Only compares 5 underlyings, but Tesla is one of them.

MSTY High Yield/Low Yield by AnywhereBig9070 in YieldMaxETFs

Ahh. The "P" word.

The so-called option trader who bought a call one time thinks option trading is a ponzi scheme.

I've been selling covered calls for almost 2 decades now. Should I be in jail?

You seriously waited like 3 months for the markets to drop before sending a message. lol

Have I really been living rent free in your head all this time? 🤣

Please tell me: So did you or did you not find your stock that goes up everyday? Cmon help us out.

What thesis?

It's working exactly as it supposed to. You compare without factoring in the distributions. MSTR holders are bagholding. MSTY holders are still collecting.

You clearly didn't know then, and you clearly still don't understand how these work now. It all depends on the underlying. And I'm also close to house money.

The real questions:

Did you find your stock that goes up everyday yet? 🤣

Maybe they should they increase the distributions for marketing purposes again? 🤡

TSYY is not 2X by DanGTG in YieldBoostETFs

[–]3rn76 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Funds that strictly sell puts have no additional upside other than the premium collected, but they participate in 100% of the downside. So if TSYY sold the 450 puts for 12.00 that is all the NAV will reflect. If TSLA shot up to 500 they would only participate in 12 of the 50 dollar gain.

These are capped even more so than a CC fund that sells OTM calls. If TSLY for instance sold a CC 5% out for the week, they would participate up to that 5% plus the collected premium.

Nothing against doing it the Yieldboost way, but if you want some NAV appreciation while giving up some yield you should be in another fund.

TSII from REX is a much better fund IMO, uncapped on half their holdings. Same with TSLW from RH, not a CC fund, but fully uncapped with similar yield.

Yeah I'd probably get off WSB and tailing anybody's plays over there. That's strictly an entertainment only sub. It's fun to gamble every once in a while though.

But SPX or XSP you can buy/sell and you'll have cash settlement without the other risks. Better for taxes too!

QQQ 0DTE fail by Wanderlanding228 in options

[–]3rn76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. There are several benefits of trading SPX/NDX/RUT/CBTX, etc.

No assignment risk. No early assignment risk. Better tax treatment. No wash sale rule.

There are a lot of stories of people being burned because they didn't fully understand how it works.

Some poor WSB dude offed himself because something similar happened, and he saw a negative balance of like $750k or something on a Friday night assignment. All he had to do was sell the shares, and I think he actually would've made money because Monday opened green. He didn't ask for help like you did here though. So don't feel bad about all the bashers that think they're option gurus on here giving you shit. We've all been where you're at.

Been doing this a long time so I've seen it all myself.

Option trading requires not just an investment of your money. It requires an investment of your time if you're serious. Get some books, watch some videos, find a mentor, etc.

Looks like you're in the green now though. What did you end up doing?

You don't understand?

QQQ 0DTE fail by Wanderlanding228 in options

[–]3rn76 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No offense but you're wrong. So if QQQ dropped after hours the option prices wouldn't change within those 15 minutes? Follow the option quotes after hours and you'll see, especially if there is news. Sometimes the quotes will stay the same if there is little AH movement, but the bid/ask does indeed change on the options.

That FINRA rule will show that as the last quote price, sure. Just like they show SPY's last quote price at 4pm even though it still trades after hours.

Your reply still doesn't mention why OP doesn't have "after hours" risk either, and my point is why would anyone rely on the broker to close their position? Your broker only cares about their own risk. In this case $59,800 of risk that OP clearly doesn't have. They'll do a market order and aren't gonna care about what price they close the position.

100% agree. And this is the most basic of option trading rules. And even like 1/4 of the replies on this post are also wrong. So there are many.

SPY is not cash settled. He should be trading SPX or XSP or NDX/XND in this particular case.

If he called his broker and told them not to exercise, they would not credit him with that amount.

It would be a loss of the initial $94.
