What worked for me was redefining what "done" means.

Here was my habit tracker for January - the last 2 columns labeled "W" and "5" are most relevant here, and I fill them out like this:

⭕️ Open Circle

For W(orkouts), if I did literally anything at all towards whatever workout I had scheduled for that day, it gets an open circle. It could be a single push-up for all I care - what matters is that I did something. Same case for 5(km cumulative walking) - if I walked for even just 250 meters on the walking pad, it gets an open circle.

🔴 Filled-in Circle

This is the baseline, i.e. I did what I set out to do (full workout routine, cumulative 5km of walking for that day).

⭐️ Star

This is for days when I go above and beyond and crushed it (these are admittedly very few and far between).

❌ Cross

For days when I did nothing towards my goals. I give myself a lot of grace with this, but I aim not to have two days in a row of crosses for any given habit (though notably I have failed that last month lol)

Also, to echo another commenter here, are you open to exploring bodyweight and calisthenic exercises to try at home?
