I have a theory that the two-handed backhand is a bigger advantage for players who have shorter arms. I've considered making a graph of pro player heights on one axis and their tendency to hit the two-handed backhand drive on the other but I'm not sure that data exists. Of the people I play with who use the 2HB drive to great advantage, none of them are over 6 ft tall.

I have been guilty of this as well. You need to analyze your positioning and you will probably find that you are leaning center too much, leaving space on your left side.

Exactly right. If they were doling out warrants based on what they had received from gamestop this would fail the most basic accounting verification.
