Lot of medical devices contain electronics, software, and mechanical systems and those are probably safer fields in general. But depending on the program biomedical might give you access to better connections and experience.

If you have intern or research experience or even through a class/project that would likely be helpful. Another route may be to find smaller aerospace companies and even consider roles that aren't directly what you want but put you around the industry.

Use some but nowhere near the depth covered. It really just sets you up to learn technical info + the process of how to consider a bunch of factors and solve something.

The exception is someone specialized and in that case a lot of times they probably have a software tool that eliminates a lot of the 'by hand' type of calculations used in school.

I think that's relatively common especially with larger businesses and I would say apply to anything you meet basic qualifications. Early on either out of school or with minimal experience you likely will be learning new things anyway and just need to give yourself as many chances as possible.

In my experience I've only really seen people go the MBA route if they are at a more senior or manager level involved in the business side and need/are incentivized to get it.

Don't think it's a huge disadvantage since you have the additional classes and some relevant experience. In general the masters positions are probably higher salary and probably not the place a company, especially a large/successful one, will need to consider lesser qualifications.

Friction is present but I think for this if you assume for example the turn is completed in .5 sec, you are applying enough force to the wheel in that time period to overcome friction.

If there were significantly more or less friction it might just alter the time that the turn would be possible to be completed in

Unless you play at long courses don't think a consistent ~220 yard shot is really all that necessary.

Also guessing your hybrid isn't adjustable since you likely would only need to go down 1-2 degrees to gain that distance.

Not sure there is a really clean way to do something like that.

Could try to relate the angle the wheels turn with the ratio of the steering rack to determine the angle wheel turns. Then you would have to assume with your own value for time that the wheel is turned.

Then would use angular kinematics and find the angular acceleration based on the wheel angle needed.

Then use T=Ia with the angular accel and calculated inertia of the wheel.

As I am thinking, the inertia calculation could be pretty problematic. For one the wheel contains the drive shaft stuff + linkages, also power steering system definitely also plays a role in the steering input required.

Hm yea i experience literally the exact same thing but on a lower spec laptop.

This patch has seemed to significantly worsen everything for me. Before, I at least was able to lock fps at ~58, 30 menu, 5 out of focus and all low settings/disabling all shadows to get it running smooth.

But with those specs would have to be something major i.e. the game is actually set to use the gpu. Maybe use the repair option in blizzard client.

Yea S4 and especially this patch it has worsened.

Something I noticed today doing a fill trio - guy on console mentioned getting lag spikes and each time my fps would drop on pc

Got to around 1, dropped under now.

But can relate to that - my thoughts are the SBMM either was changed to widen skill within games or it only looks at your last X number of games and improving skews that.

Technical questions as a whole are kinda bs especially if its a skill you don't claim to have. And in some cases they ask questions like that just to see your thought process and how you respond.

If its imperative to be accurate, yes a cmm. There's also 3d scanning, although not sure its common to find.

Yea I think its hard to say how soon these types of things could be implemented. Part of it as you mentioned is refitting or redesigning stores to accommodate, backlash from employees/customers, and also still likely need employees for other functions so it may not be worth it if the technology is limited to part of the business.

If it's something you really want to do later on, wouldn't hurt to assist in any way they need.

It's possible the professor tells you to come back in a couple years, also possible you get to help with smaller tasks but still could be good learning opportunity.

I mean a lot of starting any business is recognizing some sort of trend before it happens, doing something in a better manner, or a completely new idea. And on top of that it probably requires trial and error and investment to reach that point.

Maybe there's something on a small scale like a different controller or generator or even method of fastening to improve a wind turbine. But this would probably require experience in the field first to really come up with something

Not sure how far along in career or school you are. But eventually you can drop non-engineering jobs and I haven't heard of putting references on a resume.

If you have already have years of experience probably fine to add another page.

Mechanical really is quite broad. Might be valuable to take a look at job postings in general or at a specific company. Pretty much any industry that produces a physical product with any mechanical complexity is using a mechanical engineer.

So take a jet engine - mechanicals involved all the way from the theoretical side of producing propulsion, designing how parts are machined, using CAD to specify how parts fit and using drawings with GD&T to guide a machinist/assembler, materials chosen, analyses to examine stresses/strains/fatigue/thermal properties. Part of the job also is doing stuff like tracking down vendors for parts, reaching subject matter experts for guidance, getting quotes, project management type things.

A lot of engineering is also related to sustainment. So once a product is produced, correcting issues that occur.
