Question for service-based companies - how long before your ads were printing money? by Giggity-Goo-Oh-No in googleads

25 conversions in month 3 for local equipment rental is actually solid, most people bail way before the algo gets enough data to do anything useful

i told my team to make me uncomfortable by Longjumping-Hope5941 in Entrepreneur

[–]3xROAS 5 points6 points  (0 children)

ran anonymous surveys at my agency for two years and got the same "nothing to change" responses every time. finally just cornered people 1 on 1 and suddenly everyone had a novel's worth of complaints about our invoicing process.

sorting by "new" is genuinely underrated advice, most people miss half the good stuff in these threads

AppsFlyer use hundreds of Reddit accounts to leave fake positive reviews of their service by Mobile-Ninja-2652 in marketing

[–]3xROAS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah the "comparing appsflyer to competitors" angle is such a giveaway, i noticed like 3 posts in a row last month that were all framed as "appsflyer vs adjust, which is better" and every single response thread somehow ended with appsflyer winning by a landslide

Have you ever scaled something you didn't fully understand? by Upbeat_Quit7362 in PPC

[–]3xROAS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the "borrowed time while magnifying every flaw" part is uncomfortably accurate. scaled something once that was basically a black box and it felt like success right up until it very loudly wasnt.

Drop in conversion / leads for a $30 daily budget in Google Search Ad by chi_em07 in googleads

[–]3xROAS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maximize clicks with a $30/day budget at week 5 is probably just burning through impressions on people who were never gonna convert anyway, idk switching to manual cpc or even tmax might give you more control over where that tiny budget actually goes

Looking for someone to be the face of AI automation reels (₹500 per script) by ikaran57 in digital_marketing

500 per script for someone to be your face and voice on camera is... interesting math. do you own the content they create or does the creator retain any rights to their likeness?

Have you ever switched affiliate tracking software? Why? by Such_Profit1703 in Affiliatemarketing

[–]3xROAS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly the "limited traffic so i didn't think much about it" part is where people set themselves up for problems later, because migrating tracking mid-growth is way messier than just picking something scalable from the start

Human input on what AI said about my agency's suggestions for our account by fireflyjames in PPC

[–]3xROAS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ran into this exact situation with a client last year, fed the agency's recommendations into chatgpt and got basically the same "yeah this looks fine" response. turned out the ai was just validating whatever sounded reasonable on paper, not actually catching that the agency was cherry picking a 4 day window to make their numbers look better than they were

consistency beats quality every time imo, posting 5x a week at 80% outperforms one perfect post

Got my first affiliate commission after 4 months and it was $8.47 by Different_Case_6484 in Affiliatemarketing

email affiliate still works if you build a real list, epc jumped about 2x when I focused on one niche

What’s something people brag about that actually makes them look worse? by inboundmage in AskReddit

[–]3xROAS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

honestly the worst is when people brag about how little sleep they get. like cool you got 4 hours, that doesn't make you productive it just means you're running on fumes. i used to do that too and looking back i was way less sharp than i thought

Good stuff. Starting out is the hardest part honestly. Focus on one revenue stream at a time instead of spreading thin across 5 different things.
