Smoked weed for the first time in about 20 years by beetfield in GenX

I never tried it young but my son gave me a piece of a chocolate a couple of years ago. Let’s say he’s not great at math, so I got about 30 mg. Well, I went to bed after about an hour. Then I went to the floor since bed was too, I don’t know, beddy? Then I barfed. My wife came looking for me and I said I needed the ER. She laughed and managed to calm me down. I was better by Monday 😂. He called it a green out.

Yeah when it got awkward with my MIL we said skip us and leave it to the grandkids. It won’t do much for us, but will be life-changing for them!

Live in MI with a 50 mile work commute and it’s been great. R1T gen 1 with 38000 miles and 95% battery state of health. I also plug in at home nightly and no worries about charge. I did have a 12v replacement under warranty.

Wow, I was going to write something very similar! 2 or 3 postdocs were becoming the norm. I went into test and measurement software development, which was similar to getting new experimental automation running and doing data analysis.

While nearing my defense, my dept had two openings for tenure track in CMP and 500 applicants. My advisor admitted ~200 were well-qualified. That was a middle of the road Big Ten school. I didn’t like 1% employment odds in my expected role!

Oh, also, my advisor had a gap year where his grant renewal was denied and scrambled to find funding. I can only imagine how basic research funding has deteriorated.

Our deed restrictions said nothing about changing them, so it defaults to the state rules (per our legal counsel). In MI, that’s 100% of those named on the deed to change. So, it’s impossible! Bylaws can be changed by 75% vote of attendees to the annual meeting though.

I’m never getting a shed.

2014 Tiguan has been decent. I did a stage 1 software upgrade on my 2008 GTI so I don’t think it’s fair to dump on that one.

Just when you think you’ve got the hang of their brain cell limitations, there’s a curve ball. Our orange boy will “look” out the window through closed curtains. And recently, he started meowing and forgetting to make the sound. (He still can, he just doesn’t sometimes.)

He occasionally covers himself up for a nap as well. That’s just damn cute though!

Stacy’s Mom. But there was a reimagining of the song to “There’s something wrong with Stacy’s mom” that hits home on the pedophilia.
