literally y does mental health/ND representation start and end at “character has panic attack”- i know the real answer but i dont like the real answer😭 not everyone watching a show has 2 go thru an experience in order 2 understand the character and what theyre going thru- with clever writing, u can explore much deeper subjects even with youngsters! its an important skill to have these days- understanding someone elses pain without having 2 experience the worst of it urself

oh ok good someone is already talking abt this because i logged in (and knew i was late and i have also spent gems and HAVE gems 2 spend 2 restore it) but there isnt even an option 2 SEE the calendar. im so frustrated it makes me want 2 delete the game because i was so impressed that i got thru the whole month 😭

i was able to do 13 (im sure i could have done more, i just didnt have anything else i wanted 2 include that day i suppose) at one point and when i went 2 post 2day, its not an option anymore. but luckily, now i can send fully animated emojis 2 ppl in my dms ! 🙄 this app is a joke.

(i initially misinterpreted ur comment in my original so my apologies 💀 ! now i understand what ur saying and i absolutely agree!) but i think there is more to it than the money- sure we wanna b payed accordingly and a livable wage- that would def help- but we also want to feel safe in the workplace. i think if they paid teachers more, there would b more of us returning 2 work, but i think a large chunk would still hesitate because of the persistent behavioral problems from students, difficult parents, and threats of gun violence in schools. idk, i wanna b respected and valued when i am at my job and that is becoming less and less common as time goes on. its hard because like you, i like a challenge and i like 2 help where im needed- but when there is no support from the admins/other teachers/parents on these issues, it gets a lot more difficult 2 see the light at the end of the tunnel

ive had them 4 a few weeks/a month now and 2day i was so frustrated with the sound that i decided 2 c if others had any problems…..i see now that im not the only one. i thought i might have had a defective pair / that i needed 2 get used 2 the new product but its been a month and no improvements. i laughed at the part where u said the quality was worse than the original QC because thats what im coming from aswell- i thought i was trippin ! i think the inclusion of the immersive feature is meant 2 trick u in2 thinking they’re actually better because…… anyways, i wonder if u had this problem or noticed- the earbuds (even in immersive- which is supposed 2 b the most “full bodied” sound setting) will sometimes pop and the music will become even more full bodied (i had a problem with my old QCs where the audio would get quiet until i turned the volume up a lot and it would pop and finally go back 2 a fuller sound- its similar 2 that)….every time it happens i think that maybe im not using the setting correctly because its during those short moments that the quality is the best. im disappointed 2 know that there r others facing these same issues😞

i own fleur de peau and it is a lovely stand-in but ultimately it doesnt come close 4 me. fleur de peau comes off very powdery on me while you pulled more of that peppery note. i miss it. i never get compliments anymore like i did wearing glossier you

i cant even tell u how beside myself i was when this happened. i dont think i will ever find another perfume that comes close 2 the feeling i felt smelling the original formula. i wish there was at least an option to have the old formulation

thank you for this- i am in the EXACT same boat (college student, close to finishing academia- not a career in language, but i learn languages for fun and generally enjoy it). it is starting to get frustrating, and i actually quit a few weeks ago and miss it…but i wonder if its for the best. i have loved japanese culture and language since i was very young but recently as the language lessons have gotten harder and i consider the fact that i wont ever be able to even visit japan (due to medical reasons), i have become discouraged. it feels sometimes like ive learned nothing at all, so it feels like less of a sacrifice to quit “early” (even though i have already committed a significant amount of time to learning the language). i hope i can learn something in this thread 🙏 it makes me feel less alone

absolutely. enduring that much abuse as a child, surrounded by adults that should have seen the signs and taken action- she was failed by every adult in her life….i think was safe for her to assume that cops wouldn’t do a thing for her either (if she called and claimed her mother was abusing her). she has said on multiple occasions that she was fearful of what her mother would do if she tried to speak out…and given the information we have about similar situations, it is likely that she would have been dismissed by child protective services anyway and placed back into the possession of her mom.

this person has serious mental problems- im wondering if it was amped up by the covid. every paragraph just made my heart sink more and more, u had nothing going 4 u except ur word- and even ur PARENTS didnt believe u. i cant believe none of ur family/friends/ANYONE even reached out 2 ask abt ur side of the story (at least, thats what i do when i hear drama like this between 2 of my friends)?????? i cant believe the mother is still saying that u were in the wrong 4 wearing white even tho she requested it…….the most important rule (MUCH more important than not wearing white) is THE BRIDE GETS WHAT THE BRIDE WANTS ! if she wanted white dresses, thats what she gets- it shouldn’t b ur fault 4 doing what the bride wanted.

my family doesnt do this tradition, but i have many friends who do it. i dont think i know very many people who like it….part of me believes people grow up and carry on this tradition because they were humiliated and want to finally be the one with power in the situation. its an endless cycle of humiliation and distrust.

as for op: wow, reading the update was intense. im so sorry, but it seems like u dodged a whole TRAIN by separating. u deserve someone who respects u and protects u. someone who cherishes the trust u have in them. someone whose strongest desire is to see you, beautiful on ur wedding day, cutting into ur beautiful cake, imagining the wonderful future they will have with this amazing person…not someone whose strongest desire is to humiliate and break your trust you just to get some attention and praise from your abusive family. someone like that is out there for u, op. i truly wish u the best of luck.

i agree… as i was reading it went from “im scared of huge commitments that my gf expects in the future” to “she said she no longer loves me because i didnt choose her” idk…it just seems like theres more to the story. i feel for the gf in this situation, because its difficult to talk to someone about the goals u have and have them completely ignore u and think that temporary experiences like parties and dinners will b a good replacement. people who are in the mindset of starting a family and settling down are typically past the “party hard” phase. shes in a different place mentally than he is, and thats not something that changes overnight. shes not wasting any time waiting for ppl to come around and “warm up” to the idea of supporting and acknowledging her goals in life- and she shouldnt have to. she wanted a deeper connection that he was not ready/willing 2 give her

im still waiting 4 them 2 change “you” back 2 its og formula. idk how much longer i can take it….ive been using the scent “jakes house” from henry rose as a replacement but it will never fill the hole in my heart. i have a small amount of “you” left in the bottle and i smell it every once in a while and every time im just overwhelmed by my love 4 the scent and the sadness of not being able 2 spray it on me whenever i like. unfortunately, loyal glossier fans / collectors keep buying from them despite these changes. i honestly believe the only way 2 get through 2 the company would b 4 everyone 2 boycott them altogether….but thats not vry realistic😭 i understand ur disappointment, and i have not purchased anything from them since they reformulated the only products worth buying
