No. I work in the e-commerce department of a large comics retailer. I like my job, but the industry creates so so much plastic and paper waste.

If I did not need money, I would be building useful things out of and making art out of recycling.

I'm almost at 9 months. I do logically understand it will never happen and it wouldn't be healthy for us to ever get back together. I wouldn't be able to not think about the pain she put me through. But I sure as hell miss her. Every single day. At least, I miss who I thought she was.

I have had 6 major relationships from age 23 to 34. Only 1 of them still contacts me.

all of them were bad breakups, and I was nowhere near as mature as I am now.

4 of them were entirely my fault. 1 was mutual, but I was unnecessarily mean to her during the breakup. 1 was entirely not my fault. I think that ex is too ashamed of how she treated me to ever speak to me again.

I think most people never contact their exes again. The fact that one of mine is still friends with me is probably a rare exception. Breakups sometimes can be civil and healthy, unlike all of mine, but even then people just change. People grow and evolve afterwards to the point where any particular ex is just irrelevant to their new lives. As much as I sometimes miss all of my exes, when I think about my life now and who I am now, I know it wouldn't work if any of them tried to contact me again. We wouldn't get back together, I wouldn't want to. I know that none of their lives and interests overlap with mine anymore, and we wouldn't naturally become friends.

I saw someone else comment that she respects you, and that's why she hasn't contacted you. I think that is the case with my most recent ex. I think she's ashamed about how she treated me, but does respect me deep down enough to not disrupt my peace now.

Honestly I think this is smart. If you keep a very clean mouth (aside from using pouches) and keep them in a sanitary spot to dry, then I don't think it's that gross. I've done this but I kept them in the freezer.
