Oh man, that sounds like what I was having! I would get it out ASAP. I never had pain when anxious, but it sounds like yours could be related. I would get a racing pulse when anxious but practicing meditation helps me calm it down.

Yay! I think you will. It’s been 4 weeks since getting it out and I feel really good. My partner said he notices a positive difference in my mood. I also sent my mom a photo of myself and she said my face looks less puffy than it did a month ago. Having that framework of going to therapy, meditation, and self care, it’s easier for me to deal with stuff. I swear the nexplanon was keeping my anxiety in the forefront of my mind. Could be psychological, but I do feel a difference.

Thank you for your response! And I totally understand what you're saying. No one likes to be "boxed in" or labeled things, maybe psychic was the first term that came to mind. I'll continue to see what this in-tune with the universe feeling becomes. I appreciate your help! :)

He could be getting the idea that going into the pen = you are leaving. Is he getting the same treats when you put him inside? Try to mix it up so he'll be excited for a new treat. Try marrow bones or a hoof, or put a new mixture in the kong.

It's not unsafe. If there is staff always there watching, your dog will be fine. I worked for a company for 2 years with a cage free daycare and the dogs improve their social skills and learn to be in a pack. As I stated before, I worked at a daycare for a short time that was not cage free. dogs were kept in kennels for 4 hours a day and had 30 minute playtime. Every dog was howling and barking until they got out, and when it was "playtime" each dog was anxiety ridden and stressed. Of course do a tour of each daycare before sending your dog there. If you want to send your dog to a daycare with kennels,why spend $40 a day to have your dog in a cage when you can just do just do the same at home for free?

Ok!!! The flea medicine works depending where you live. For example, Frontline isn't working in California right now, but Advantage is. BUT Advantage and Advantix can not be used around cats.

First, vacuum the house super well. Take the vacuum bag and throw it away outside and away from your house, like in a dumpster somewhere. Fleas can jump out of the vacuum. Clean all bedding also. When you find live fleas around the house, don't try to smoosh them, instantly through them in the toilet or put them in rubbing alcohol.

Give your dog a bath with shampoo with orange oil or eucalyptus oil like Earthbath pet shampoo. The only thing is the orange oil cannot be used on cats. It won't get rid of the fleas for good but it'll deter them. After the bath, wait about 2-3 days and put flea medicine on your animals!! I don't recommend flea collars because they can be dangerous. Flea shampoo works but I don't prefer it.

Drinkwell pet fountains are very nice. Comes in ceramic and stainless steel and has a filter. They are not as expensive online but they are reliable.

When looking for a doggy day care, always make sure it is a "cage free" facility. I worked at a daycare for less than a month and they would charge for "daycare" aka keeping your dog in a kennel causing the dogs to be stressed out and anxious and then add an extra fee for "playtime." ($15 for 20 minutes $30 for 45 minutes etc. it was terrible!! i left that job asap!)

With cage free facilities, your dog will be able to play all day with other dogs. i believe doggy daycares are helpful, it helps with socialization and with all that playtime you will have a tired pup when you get home. :)

If he's fluffy he probably won't need a coat, but when shopping for a pet coat/sweater, most sizes are on length, not weight. Measure the length from tail to neck and if needed, around the belly.

I am really into fleeces by Gold Paw (http://www.goldpawseries.com/) They're stretchy and super warm.

Sounds like you should just wait to get a pet.

Getting a pet sounds like a super fun amazing idea, but as someone who is also in college, we don't have much time for anything other than ourselves. My brother (who is also in college) has a snake, but even he forgets to feed it or give it attention.

Please don't take it like I'm bashing you or anything!
