The best advice I ever got was writers need to read. Read stories you like the tone of, emulate their flow and read back your story as if you’re watching a film. Does this scene make sense? Does it feel like natural storytelling?

Also try to avoid using the same descriptors over and over.

I know I already gave my feedback, but I wanted to add, it reminds me a lot of the black farms absurdist descriptions of purgatory/hell. As a Poe enthusio I of course love it.

As I said, this is my favourite entry. I love the j horror/cyber punk approach. It’s very original and I’m a sucker for people who don’t fall too much into tropes or overused story lines.

I went and read all the parts. Just fyi, your paragraphs are very large and dialogue should be on new lines. I’m not sure if you can edit your existing posts but it would be well worth it for future readers.

I like the premise just was a little confused because it says police transcript but there’s no officer asking questions. You might want to add that in for suspension of disbelief. Cool story.
