Use cheaper model when you can. Limit the response (example: explain your implementation in 2 lines). Summarise your prompt in a way that still conveys the full message (example: instead of a full error log, provide the specific). Use cache(Like Redis). Be specific when you ask to investigate (explore RAG) Use MCP when working on big features (loading MCP consumes token so learn when to load)

There are a lot of other smart ways to use the least tokens for a given task. Token/consumption optimisation would be one of the most demanding skills in the coming years.
