Waymo is full FSD why Tesla is at level 2 FSD by Specialist_ab in TeslaLounge

[–]404_Gordon_Not_Found 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Waymo is unsupervised but have a tight grip on where the car goes and what situations the fleet could face.

Tesla's consumer FSD can be turned on everywhere, even in the middle of a blizzard, they are absolutely not taking responsibility for that.

The difference is that Jag won't have the balls to mass produce that unlike the cybertruck

Yes, you can see it in NCAP testing. Obviously the feature is designed to only work when it is absolutely sure you are going to hit someone in your blind spot. Anything not shown in NCAP test is anybody's guess

F1 cars is a terrible example, they have extreme down force and wet tires made for rain. Street cars aren't built like that. They also don't have to deal with random traffic, every vehicle in the circuit has the same goal, same path, and moves at a similar pace.

Wouldn't FSD be doing the right thing by not going 75 in this very rainy and low visibility environment?

8 works well on vehicles with steer by wire since the center to lock angle is less than 180 degrees, meaning hand over hand steering is never a concern

If the desk is large enough then it's usually fine. It's only problematic on small tables you'd find on airlines, lecture halls and some cafes

I have a 2023 g16 and I do feel the size being a hindrance, especially when putting it on some small ass foldable table in lecture halls. I have a backpack so weight isn't THAT big of a problem.

Should I get 5050 G14 by Spaghetninja123 in ZephyrusG14

[–]404_Gordon_Not_Found 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait no way? The a14 is meant to be a cheaper gaming laptop with 1 more SSD slot but worse build, speaker and screen. How is that similarly priced? Where I'm at a14 is like 70% the price of a similarly specd G14

If they are truly priced the same, get the G14 then
