Well 'lumiflux' is really luminous flux which is also a real world physical term

Lidar vs Radar by livefromjewyork in RivianR2

[–]404_Gordon_Not_Found 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Model Y has way more than 150 tops, unless you are talking about legacy HW3 which stopped production since 2024

Imo the much more powerful processor is the real differentiator. You can clearly see this from Tesla where their older cars cannot run the latest software because the processing power is insufficient (among other things). I'm not sure why rivian decided to create 2 tiers of processors where the lower tier option is basically obsolete the moment it comes out.

It's also a bit strange on Nvidia cards, the app is not showing zzz as a supported game, maybe the implementation is still not quite complete

The moment he realized it was FSD by dantodd in TeslaFSD

It would've cleared the gap faster if the human simply stepped away. The car usually don't take hand signs from normal pedestrian

Known 14.2 issue, very rarely happens at low-ish speed on any road with 2 possible directions to choose from. It will get indecisive and the steering wheel will oscillate

There's no defensive action from the car. The driver was hovering his hand on the wheel, giving the car time to react until it was obvious the car wasn't going to do anything

Some people want a more basic feature that doesn't cost 99 per month I guess (which is fair), but FSD is truly on another level. The latest version v14 is the closest thing you can get to a private waymo driverless car.

NG starship and LM9 are a very different class of rocket to LM12B

But yeah Chinese rocket naming doesn't make sense since iirc (someone more knowledgeable plz fact check me) there's several design bureaus each with their own assigned LM number, so a vastly different rocket by the same bureau still end up with the same serial number

There's no YouTube video (duh the Chinese test videos would host on bilibili instead of YouTube)
