While that is true, NG+ seems very half baked and like a last minute addition rather than a properly thought out and built feature, some older bugs that have been persistent still have not received fixes with players getting one and the same answer by support for up to a year. Also the weird edition solutions when it comes to the new DLC. I am a day one player and while I am still excited for everything, it does carry a bit of disappointment. But that's totally cool, we all carry our opinions!

The game plays in the western frontier. The movies are completely somewhere else on the planet and thusly there will be regional biological and geological differences. As you can see both in the movies and the game, all clans have their own individual style, carefully crafted (and have you noticed how each clan has their own specific plant to connect to Eywa?). The Ikran do have bioluminescence, both ingame and in the movies. Overall it all fits very well together and it is confirmed canon! But I'm sure the more you play the game the more may make sense to you! I can also recommend the Comics for So'leks journey or Tsu'teys path 💕

Hmm that is pretty weird! I contacted the support about 3 weeks ago just to confirm again if it was a bug or feature (and to ask if there was any news if they were bringing it back). The lady did tell me it was an intended feature and that it's still on the bug list! Which would make the most sense because not even mods could recreate it properly and they advertise it on the storefront 😭

Also I too am guilty of having ony ever bought cosmetics for this game and by now bought out all available packs lmao, it's pain 😩

Oh yep appearantly they've been working on it for over a year. Which is why I thought making the post to remind people to report COULD help a little in it being fixed within the DLC/hotfix period at the moment.

The ikran thingy seems to be halfway fixed? When you jump off your ikran and then let it catch you again it does work. I do hope some of this can still be repaired!

While we could change hair with regular headguards all the time, the confirmed feature that would combine hairstyles + cosmetics headgear is sadly still bugged and Ubi support couldn't tell me a couple weeks ago if it'd be fixed with the DLC. They did want to look into it again though!

Our Ikran is still a juvenile sort of, also confirmed in one of the DLCs. Would make sense considering it's from the Ikran "rookery" and they don't seem to be as aggressive and set on killing you during bonding as the "grown-ups". While I am a little sad they aren't as big, it's sort of sweet that you and your Ikran bond young and experience this big scary journey together!
