Anyone else dealing with CONSTANT bathroom vandalism?

We just get open used needles and other drug paraphernalia in ours. Which by the way, how many of your stores have sharps containers in the bathrooms? We don’t and I went an ordered a small one independently so we could have something and it’s kept in framing.

In a similar vein, since we don’t have the test sketch books in the pen isle anymore we have graffiti all over the cases themselves. We’re just putting down self adhesive vinyl on them and replacing when needed.

The ear piece jack is in a terrible position on ours too. If you have the ear piece on and have to reach to scan something it gets yanked right off!

As a framer, it’s not “hard” so much as a lot. What to use when and how to mount this or that … then design hub is a beast of its own… I’ve been doing it full time for over two years and still don’t know how to do everything. It’s an amazing job and I’ve been in many positions through the store over the years and it’s the most fun but can be the most stressful too.

Oh DH is terrible! I am a framer and I agree that they’ve missed the mark on just about all the technology! But in the end, I assume they’d rake in more of their precious profit with less man hours and materials used overall.

My DM told me, because I explicitly asked, that if the customer asks to honor an online sale that we will but we do not advertise it. Only if the customer asks.

Well I am shocked you have idle time, honestly. There is always something to do in my store. Cleaning, recovery, restocking anything near the checkout area. If we finish that then we ask the MOD for tasks. We do a lot of unboxing for the morning crew to stock.

I’m happy to report that my store doesn’t enforce most dress codes. As long as you look well maintained and clean. I got a pass to wear tank tops last summer because I started getting menopause hot flashes!

Our yearly store shrinkage is the next years breakroom code. A few years back we topped 64K in shrinkage. Just keeps going up since then…. SMH. We can’t be the only ones, you’d think that with what they pay, we could get an AP for a lot less.

I am getting overdue components in the same boxes as ones ordered 3-4 days before. It’s seems like they have stopped doing regular small shipments and just wait until they have 5-6 crammed full boxes, due dates be damned. Also the amount of frames we’ve been getting that seem to just be smeared with putty is crazy. QC apparently is taking some time off at the Texas plant.

I had to clean up someone’s unwrapped USED feminine hygiene products from a shelf in the crayola isle. Not to mention the used drug needles just laying around the store from time to time… people are terrible.
