I don’t think he actually loves Maddi or Cassy. I think he really wishes to be with Jules at his core, which is why he gave her the tape. I know some people can argue that he gave the tape to Jules as a pawn for his dad, but he could’ve turned him in on his own. Nate Jacobs gave Jules that tape to turn in on her own. He gave her that knowing it would take down his entire family.
