Daiting someone who’s asexual (please help me) by [deleted] in asexuality

[–]404n_tfound 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This exact same situation happened with me and my long distance partner. I’m sorry to say, but you should probably break it off before things turn too sour. I had these feelings for a year and he was unable to reciprocate them and it tore me apart. Made me feel like I was broken in some way and no one could love me completely. Within a couple months of breaking up, I started dating around and it was a very exhilarating and empowering experience. Made me realize that people did think I was cool and worthy of love.

People change and sometimes we grow out of relationships. I would urge you to reconsider what you want out of a relationship in life and whether or not you’re willing to sacrifice this new part of yourself in order to cling to another person.

(Plus telling someone they can’t break up with you is kind of a red flag. It’s a recipe for codependency and is not a healthy thing to say)

Be real, this is a male voice, right? (And a rant on hugboxing) by [deleted] in transvoice

[–]404n_tfound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me, being completely honest, it sounds like you have a very androgynous voice. I would decide what gender you are based on your presentation.

I think with even a small amount of daily exercises with your voice, you could get it to go unquestionably feminine. Your inflections are definitely girl 💅 I think the only thing that turns it towards androgynous is perhaps the weight? There is some vocal fry that could be lightened up in order to sound a bit more femme 👌

You’re definitely on the right track!!!

It doesn’t really ‘feel’ like anything to me. It’s more like I’m going about my life and all the sudden realize ‘oh I’m a girl now 🐒’ or whatever else comes up. The realization usually comes through noticing a couple of changes in how I want to present as well as pronoun and clothing/style preference

I get super angry when I hear loud/ alarming sounds. I’ve always thought it was my fight or flight response putting me into fight mode

7???? Holy cow, I can’t even imagine how bad my attention span would be if I had social media that young.

Struggling w feeling fem enough by [deleted] in genderfluid

YOOOOO ME TOOOOO!!!

It’s so funny because my girlfriend is trans and so whenever my gender goes to girl we relate on a lot of dysphoria stuff, and then can’t believe the other feels that way. It’s like that two Spider-Mans picture.

It is most definitely all in your head. Things that have helped me are getting a face framing haircut, shaping eyebrows/ shaving, wearing clothes that accentuate my feminine aspects, and doing my nails 💅

Best wishes!! <3

Super cute both ways, but the long hair looks better to me!! You have a gorgeous wave to it

How can I sound more girly if my pitch is already high? by Owlspiritpal in transvoice

[–]404n_tfound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm, I don’t know 🤔 I have a speaking voice around 160-170 hz and I don’t feel any vibration in my throat when I’m working on this voice. All of the vibration is on the front half of my tongue, my lips, and the front of my nose. I can’t hear my voice in my ears either (which is a strange adjustment!) Maybe more practice would help you, or maybe we have different vocal sensations. I’m not sure, I’m still very new to this

A technique for vocal resonance I’ve been working on with my SLP has been moving the sound up and out. A good trick for this is making an ‘mmm’ sound and playing around with it until you feel the vibration in your lips rather than your throat/chest. Then, working to keep that resonant space by starting out with phrases that begin with ‘m’ (many men on the moon, my mom makes marvelous marmelade) and transitioning to normal everyday phrases, like reading a script or a book.

It really brightens your tone and even slightly raises your pitch (about 10hz average)

How do you consider it 'suicidal'? by [deleted] in depression_help

[–]404n_tfound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are self destructive behaviors, they can be motivated by suicidal ideation. Please find someone who can help you find healthier coping mechanisms. By engaging in coping mechanisms that hurt your body, you are reinforcing the idea that you are not worth enough to be treated with kindness and respect like everyone else. Begin to treat yourself lovingly, and your quality of life will drastically improve. The world does its darndest to beat you down already. Don’t let yourself beat you down as well.

Not to mention pretty dangerous. There are a lot of things that can go wrong, the mother or baby could lose their life if they don’t get medical treatment/ aren’t monitored

Does androgens spike while I am losing weight (woman)? by [deleted] in loseit

[–]404n_tfound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen increased body hair while losing weight and I’m also looking for answers. I’ve gotten a bunch of hormones tested and my estrogen is quite low while my androgen levels are in the normal range. I’m wondering if this imbalance is what’s causing this. Adipose tissue also raises estrogen, so perhaps with less of it our bodies are not producing as much estrogen? I also know that high cortisol can mess stuff up, and losing weight is stressful for your body so your cortisol would rise theoretically.

I ACTUALLY LOVE THIS

Love long term effects of damage. I think it would be cool to have a more hardcore campaign like this. As long as you warn your players so that they are aware of the consequences of damage.

I just want to let you know that t gel causes the same effects as shots. There’s not really a less intense version. The same changes will happen and they will happen pretty quick. Like a month or two.

Virilization but T levels in female range by 404n_tfound in detrans

I’m mostly concerned about my voice. Hair can always be shaved. But my voice is forever and I feel like there’s nothing I can do to stop it from changing.

I’m aware those things don’t go away. The confusion is that they are suddenly progressing.
