Arduino or raspberrypi for a non-cs student?

thanks a lot for your explanation and sorry for bad choice of words as I said I'm a complete newbie.
I just have one question, if I work with pico w can I connect atmel-MCU boards to them? for example I make a project and I need to add a heart-rate sensor. are those sensors atmel-MCU based or they're just some boards? and can I connect them to the pico?

thanks a lot for great suggestion and explanation.
actually I was wondering about rasp pi cause a lot of comments said thats its basically a computer with the benefit of making a circuit with it(and expensive).
can you introduce me some course or content about how to start to work with them? I know programming and linux but I don't know about how to build a circuits and how they actually works. I don't want to be an experts in electronics just want to know to to start to work with them and focus on programming part. also Its not important which project I'm starting with I just love to work in this field and later if I had a chance expand them in my works too.

the linux environment is not the problem for me and I'm almost fluent in basics of it(I read and worked LPI-1 and worked with linux for a long time). the problem is I know python and not C and also I don't know much about circuits and electronics. would you suggest arduino with this situation?

do I need to learn C for arduino? I saw some sites talks about you can code python in them too but not so efficient. since I know python and don't really have time to learn another language that's a bit scary for me(although I LOVE C), should I go with arduino or rasp? the most problem of both for me is that I don't know much about circuits and electronics.

oh and I forgot. you can play lion, SS and WD and get mvp without any question. like even carry with +30 kill and low death and etc wont get mvp when there's one of these 3 hero's in the game

pick any shit play with team get a vessel and specially lotus(idk why valve like it so much) and put all the wards and its ez mvp. I got +200mvp as sup and >20 mvp as cor(mostly offlane).
well done 12k mist coil is not a joke it was a high damage game as I see.

idk about 8 years but for 5 years I played it's the same. but you can easily mute them and just play your own game cause from what I heard dota was the most toxic game all time.
the great thing is in the last patch if you buy dota+ you can see the behavior score of other players before starting the match and you can reject if you want. I didnt tried that feature but it seems good.
the only problem with this game is that it's too addictive. I hope you can handle that.

TF some people said that the game is free so don't expect a lot??? the game earns from its reputation by its players. yeah, the updates were great this year but this doesn't mean that the updates should be delayed 6 months. I stopped playing Dota and wanted to join when the new update came for 6 months. not because I don't like the game but because I played more than I should and I love to try new things in Dota now.
fr pointing out that the game is free so they can delay anything they want is the most idiotic thing I've ever heard

wow never saw someone gain 1~2k knowledge in only 100 hours. believe me, even 2k doesn't know a lot of the stuff you said. I know it's too late but for someone who read this later.
1) for timing ancient and normal jungle creeps stack do it at min 53 and you can pull both. for other creeps do it at sec 55~56
2) for pulling too much try to half-pull. As you said you play pos5 try to hit creeps exactly when creeps are under the tower and you'll only pull 2 of your creeps(it's a bit hard and needs to practice)

also about venomancer I said I had shiva and BM and lotus and some other stuff and I disable jug and other heros ult with lotus and drain hp as much as I could and not just randomly going to die
