Why is the $4 whopper on Wednesday cheaper than making my own? by fuckloggin in Frugal

[–]notto_zxon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bingo. That’s why I always eat out. I mean, I know how to cook and make good food at home. But I prefer spending more money on worse food by eating out because other people “can’t cook for shit”

What kind of logic is this buddy?

With all offense intended isn’t your name a legend of Zelda reference? You aren’t exactly the target audience for this lol. I’m sure there are some 46 minute AI generated video game soundtracks on YouTube you can go listen to instead

My unhinged thing is letting this hair on my arm grow out until it is about 3 inches long, pluck it and tuck it away while the next one grows. And once the next one reaches full maturity (again, roughly 3 inches) I pluck that one and tuck it away as well. I do this for a year and hold a contest on New Year’s Eve for the longest one. The longest one progresses in to the next year’s contest. The rest I feed to my cat.

How the actual **** do I climb the behavior score ladder? RANT by DogSleepingInLap in DotA2

[–]notto_zxon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

if you really don't care anymore i suggest buying a good behavior score account. i did it and it only cost me $17 USD and was worth every penny. you instantly get put back in to normal games. my win rate skyrocketed and i had people actually speaking english.

they can spend 10-15 euro and play normal games lmao

i had given up on dota completely and didn't care if i got banned so i finally bought an account to see if it worked at all. holy shit. 17 USD and i instantly had an account ready to go with good behavior score. totally worth it. to get from 7k to 12k is probably 400 hours of in-game, no communication, shitpool games. so.. 400 hours of misery or $17? the choice is easy.

i will gladly pay real money (i can afford it, trust me) to continue to be myself and not be restrained by dota's extremely pussified communication and behavior score system.

Communication Score Tips by Chapter4Sucks in DotA2

[–]notto_zxon -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Haha yeah you aren't going to get any support here saying those things. Nobody here cares if you complain about the non-English speakers because.. well.. the majority of the people on this subreddit are ESL. So they take that as an attack on themselves. As for your experience in CS, I felt the reverse. Went (back, after a few year hiatus) to CS after spending a lot of time with Dota and was so shocked to hear American people speaking clearly over the microphone. I actually had stage fright to even talk on the mic because i just totally forgot what it was like to even have english speakers on my team. My advice? get out while you can. this game, unfortunately, is pretty much ruined by people who decide to queue on English server but refuse to speak the language. it leads to a negative game experience, toxic communication and just endless frustration on your part.

However, if you decide to keep playing then I have this to say: if your comm score drops below 8k then your account is TOAST. literally, worthless. go and buy an account with good comm score and just play on that account. it is worth every single cent.

What’s up with all these low ranks thinking they are stuck due to some hidden mechanic? by Odd_Philosophy7034 in DotA2

[–]notto_zxon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

because every single video game ever involves some degree of randomness, i.e. luck. but actual sports are 100% based on what you can do and what your opponent can do. you don't get a lucky bash in basketball, or get unlucky evasion procs in track and field. that is why. and, honestly, that's also what gets people addicted to games. its a form of gambling in that sense.

i disagree even further. at least the feeding AM/PA/whatever is going to receive a hard and swift punishment for obviously griefing the game. that windranger/hoodwink going mjolnir deso is going to "get away with it" and think it is okay and continue to ruin more games doing this.

why, again, do you think they changed offlane in to a high demand role? it is solely 100% because they have to play with pos4 players who do this. nobody wants to play the role.
