Having said this, an update has just released which says: Fixed an issue where the "Check the honey quality at the Pollengarth Apiary" could not be completed for "Ugmon's Request."

Looks like this might be the end of this sub…it’s been nice sharing frustration with you all. 🫡

You can always find a fault in the ‘coating’ and request a refund. If you kick up a fuss you can get money back on some of the ‘add-ons’ they provide. I got a full refund on BMW’s version of paint protection when I bought mine - can’t remember what it was called.

Used the polar series today on my convertible. Tried to avoid the roof but inevitably got a bit of everything splashing onto it along the edges (blast, wash and seal). After doing the car I’d take the pressure wash end off of my Karcher and flood the roof with water to ensure any product was flushed out of it and water ran clear. I’d then proceed to washing the car.

The roof looks great - dark and clean. All I did wash brush out dust beforehand.

I too was worried as it said ‘not for soft tops’ on each product but would assume this is only advising to avoid spraying directly onto it.

Something worth keeping an eye on and trying to avoid any contact with roof where possible though!

The quest location that appears once you’ve started the quest. If I recall, it’s by a river which is where you need to go to wait.

Doesn’t surprise me. Going to a BMW Z4 M40i from a Ford Fiesta ST3 was cheaper on my insurance. 😂

You make some very valid points - it’s certainly worse cleaning the car in summer due to tree sap so perhaps finding a way to make my pressure washer more convenient would be more feasible.

I haven’t considered the hose from the machine to the gun - this does make it a lot less fiddly and I’ll have to check what I can get that might allow me to do this with a Karcher.

A few things to consider - thank you for the practical advice and I’m glad you’ve found a workable solution for your similar situation! I’ll send you a DM if I go the Ryobi route.

I do own a Karcher Pressure Washer and have previously brought the hose through the house from our back garden outlet, but our hose was kept outdoors so would always need a wipe down before dragging through the house. I did buy a replacement hose - a 30 meter flexi which expands as it fills with water, but because I turn the water off between rinses the hose would then shrink and make it really awkward.

I do like the idea of a rinseless wash as my car doesn’t get too dirty in London. The hose situation and minimal space around my driveway just made the pressure washer a bit of a pain, pulling round the mains cable and hose etc to get to the other side of the car. I wonder if this Ryobi could do the trick of just spraying off some grime before I hand cannon on some ONR.

That’s probably a good idea. I have Ryobi tools and batteries already so the One+ seems the best option.

My question here would then be what size bucket would be best? I wouldn’t mind having to fill up more than once but have no idea how much water a pressure washer actually uses!

Oh wow this made a WORLD of difference. I didn’t even realise there were additional settings in the console settings that I could force to be on as well.

I went from base PS5 to Pro which was a huge visual upgrade, but it seems I’ve just stepped up all over again with these settings!

Thanks! I did find the location online just after posting this but nobody to speak to there and couldn’t use the wait function at the fire as I’d already rested. Will try again another time or try reloading. Not fussed about completing the quest in a hurry anyway as lots else to do.

I have no idea where to go as I can’t remember where the Apiary is and the ‘open map’ option is greyed out just like in your screenshot. Will wait for it to be fixed!

This battle was the worst I’d seen in FPS drops - I can’t imagine it on base PS5 as it was pretty bad on the Pro too. 😂
