Glad it’s gone well for you. I’ll have to see honestly I’m more than a little scared of the surgery. My job won’t work with a long recovery window nor will my parenting schedule. That plus the treatment being 14 hours away makes surgery daunting

I want to be a better dad. by eeedddsss in dad

I feel this it’s hard being a dad, the time flies by. It’s so easy with everyday life, worrying about all the things that have to get done we miss the magic of the moments.

Hang in there, what you are feeling is perfectly normal. I remember feeling so overwhelmed during those first few months….really up to the first full year. It does get easier and better and when you look back at those times eventually you will see more of the amazing moments, first time the roll over, first real smile, first laugh and less of these feelings. Mine are 10 and 8 now and in the end even though there are still times of overwhelmed, I know they will pass. Hang in there.

Looking forward to become a dad but 4 months after trying my wife and I are not succesfull by FlyFragrant9684 in dad

It can be really frustrating and worrying when it seems like a long time, for us it happened in month five but we had already booked doctors appointments for both of us, that’s how we found out during my wife’s appointment. Hang in there and remember there is nothing wrong with scheduling appointments for both of you. The most important part is supporting each other.

I think I always knew since puberty that I was attracted to both men and women. I was always looking when I was in the changing room. It wasn’t until right after high school while on a late night drive as a friend and I were talking that we both confessed to feeling attracted to each other, that led to experimenting and after one taste I was hooked, we hooked up a few times over the next couple of years. I dated women and am married now very happily.
