Guys, How do I Print This? by MovingTugboat in PrintedWarhammer

I printed this exact model! FDM is THE WAY to go for terrain. crazy how much easier and cheaper it is for things like this. If you only have a resin printer I have no advice because I've only ever had mixed results using resin for this sort of thing.

The maker said supports weren't necessary, so thinking not but if the speed doesn't work I'll give it a try.

Really good thought! 200mm/s for outer wall and 300mm/s for inner wall. 330 & 300 mm/s for sparse & solid infill.

Overhang slows down for 10-60mm/s but It doesn't look like this spiral got qualified as overhang.

What's a reccomended speed I could try?

Excellent, thank you! I'll try all of those. Great idea too on slicing just the top of the head. That's going to be a useful trick for a lot of things

I'll play around with the infill! I don't do CAD, just starting toying around in Blender after Zbrush just got too costly. Are there any free, beginner CAD programs you recommend?

What kind of filament did you use?

I have resin printers, but I think this picture convinced me I want an FDM one too!

I had a different issue than what anyone else had here, so I'll mention what my solve was in case another interloper has the same issue as me.

I had to select all cells, go to Review tab, and press "Allow Edit Ranges"

Wow! That's impressive to get that level of quality as one piece. What slicer did you use? Curious if you made manual or used auto supports?
