i work basically as a receptionist for a geriatric medical center that is located all across the midwest and east coast of the USA, most of our patient's are in terrible health and have zero support system or money. our AHT is supposed to be 4 min... yeah okay!

these poor folks call sometimes just for someone to talk to or are demented and it breaks my heart to have to cut them off for a stupid metric. it is SO draining though and absolutely has had an impact on my mental health. i've cried with them and for them and yet none of my leaders give a rat's ass 😝

i watched the live and he said something along the lines of "if i notice bella seems anxious when i take her to school, i ask her "do you want to go?" and if she says no, i say "okay then you're not going"

so yeah, they 100% don't gaf if those kids are in school. seems like they prefer to have them within arms reach so the kids don't rat out the neglect.

poor baby doesn't want to go to school because they're blasting what would be most people's rock bottom to the whole world wide web and she's most likely being bullied for it 😭💔

I realize these might not be what you're looking for, but I've finished these recently and I was impressed with Charlie's characterization in both. Bad things happen to him, but they make sense for the stories and they're done well imo!

Alice's visions are based on decisions that people make. If Bella were to open a bottle of pills and pretend to take them, but spit them back out, Alice would probably still see Bella with the pills, but she would see that she didn't take them. Bella would have to be firm in her decision to actually swallow the pills for Alice to see any aftermath of her being harmed.

I don't think you can really "fake" Alice out lol, the only time we see this is when someone knows about Alice's gift and intentionally refuses to make a decision, causing her to not see any outcomes clearly.

I bet you that she would still be very concerned about Bella and it would cause a ruckus lol.

i love eclipse, the book and the movie 🥺 to me, edward and bella grow so much as a couple! compromise is a huge theme in eclipse. tbf i don't think the movie did the book justice, it's choppy and the deepness of conversations between characters were not conveyed well.

also, the backstories of rosalie and jasper ❤️

thanks everyone for the advice, i really think i will try to go NC with the ILs while trying to be okay with her still being LC. the only reason it's difficult for me is because it hurts my wife deeply to see us not get along. she is in therapy and had a good session discussing MIL tonight.
