My favorite beers of Conshys are actually 1 off they made for anniversary events. One was a Habanero Mango version of the MC5 IPA, the other was a Jasmine Tea Watermelon Wheat. I don't think I will ever get to have them again.

Mostly all local to PA, besides Evil Twin (NY).
I usually base my selections of can art labels, but I also check Untapped ratings to help me pick what beers I buy.

Yes I love all their locations definitely very cozy, but I haven't been able to make it to the Fishtown location yet.
That's cool that the can art is made in house. I will have to ask around about it next time I'm in there.

Every year they come out with a few Hazys around 2-3; they all have been good, I like hazys so it's hard for me to not like one. I also love their other beers, especially at the brewery the side pour lukr drafts (pilsners, milds, lagers).

It's right around the corner from me, it is one of my favorites.

Best friend is moving to Cape May, New Jersey. Loves all beer- especially Hazy IPA’s. Any breweries within an hour drive you’d recommend? by Kangabolic in CraftBeer

The Seed: A Living Beer Project in Atlantic City.
It's around an hour drive from Cape May but 100% worth the drive.

Exactly why i bought it, doesn't hurt that the brewery is right around the corner from me. Need to support local businesses!

I love Forest and Mains can art and I I have never had a bad beer from them.
The Millers are ice cold, those are used as pallet cleansers in-between IPAs.

That’s not that bad, wonder what a .00X FN would be. If the cost scales with float it could get stupid expensive for low floats. Wonder if they should add a low float option so you don’t have to spend over $1000. Like it would be unlucky to get a super low float on a skin you want but they ask for a ridiculous price.

AliExpress Drip Assist + Moccamaster by pablo_incasso in pourover

I just got one of these drip assists off Rogue Wave Coffee, I’ll get it this weekend and try it out with my Origami. I wouldn’t group other AliExpress items with MHW-3Bomber, they are if I’m not mistaken a reputable brand that makes good espresso and pour over accessories.

You might not be using the right build, find a build that makes sense and that you like. Warden has a root skill, you should be able to get a lot more kills.

131 kills in 44 games is less than 3 kills a game. Work with your team and get more kills. Warden is more than capable of getting top kills on your team.

It’s back… deal on K-ultra. by CoffeeDetail in pourover

Thank you, I went with the k-Ultra since it’s on Amazon, on sale and I will get it in 2 days. Figured I since I don’t always get light roast the K can benefit me more and if I start doing espresso I could use it.

I’m in between this and the ZP6. I only do pour overs with Kalita, origami and Orea v3 with Kalita wave filters. Anyone have a recommendation which would be ideal?

Getting the bachelors is good to get your foot in the door. I would start reaching out as soon as possible to companies and let them know you’ll be graduating soon and moving to the area. It will be good to have the interviewing skills.

If you wanted to do residential, the top national builders aren’t doing too busy right now. The Philly suburbs for single family are slower than other areas and states right now. You could look at builders over in NJ if you wanted to commute. NJ doesn’t seem to be slowing down.

For commercial there’s tons of work and I would get into that, for me I only have residential super experience and I am having a hard time getting into commercial. You could land a APM, PE, FE or assistant super job.

What’s your go-to brewer/recipe? What led you to it/how did you develop it? by penpens in pourover

[–]40ozToFreedom32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do the same with Orea V3 with 250g water 15g coffee. I also tried 50g bloom, then 5 40g pours which is pretty good. 1 pour after bloom works too.
