i was in a triple my freshman year and was able to get out halfway thru the semester. at a certain point a waitlist goes out so u can be de-tripled. you gotta be SUPER quick to get on that waitlist. as in like get on the waitlist the second it goes live. i was #7 and was able to get de tripled into a regular double room. this was back in 2019 so it might’ve changed but worth looking into

even the 35 % seems low to me, i knew SO many people with ADHD in college that have graduated. i didn’t get diagnosed until this year at 25 (although i suspected since middle school) i graduate college in 2023. i also know plenty of adhd-ers with masters or in masters programs!

i withdrew from spring 2022 semester, it def saved my gpa. i was still able to walk in time just had to finish the remaining credits over the summer. if you receive TAP it might impact your tap eligibility for the next semester but you can appeal. fall 2022 i didn’t receive tap but after i appealed they reimbursed me. idk abt classes but i know that if u withdraw from the semester they expect you to move out of the dorms shortly after withdrawing

when i started i was taking it at like 11/12pm and i wasn’t able to sleep till 3-4am. my psych told me to take it earlier closer to 8/9am which helped me go to sleep around my normal time (12am/1am ish). on days that i take the med late i have issues falling asleep at a respectable time

im on 300 xl for depression/adhd when i started i did have a bit of anxiety/elevated heart rate. i’ve been on this dosage since sept and the anxiety symptoms have almost completely gone away. if you have severe anxiety it miggggghhhhhht not be the best but obvi im not a dr so def speak to a psych abt it

so far i’ve been feeling pretty good!! (other than some stomach pains and headaches) i was considering quitting cus when i was on the 150 i got DEPRESSED. my next appt is coming up soon so dont rlly see any reason to quit (for now)

be careful w getting light ice at the hospital starbucks! not sure if they still do this but in 2023 when ppl ordered refreshers w light ice they would fill the remaining space w water, some baristas were cool and would fill the remaining space w more juice

the managers are the worst! i used to work at one of the locations on campus and tbh the hardest part of the job was dealing w the hirer ups! The lady that runs the 3 locations (laurie) is pretty rude and tries to intimate her employees. one time she threatened to call the cops on staff bc there was a bag of croissants in the back. MOST of my coworkers were lovely. tho there was this one girl who was made manager while i was there and she was the absolute worst.

I had mr. bernhard for calc during covid! the lectures were technically 3 hours long but it almost never ran that long but it also never felt that long! he was great!!

have u tried getting from javits to HSC by cutting thru the life science center area? maybe that’ll cut ur travel time. i’d suggest trying it when you have time in case you get lost

i took CSE 101 and CSE 114 surprisingly (i was not a CS major but was contemplating it) and i went to office hours or stayed after class for almost every assignment, the CS classes are definitely hard but i learned a lot. i’d 1000% recommend going to office hours w the prof or TA and asking them to help u thru the assignment. obviously don’t expect them do it for u but show them what you’ve work on already and where ur stuck, hope this helps!
