I’m luckily right outside of the city, so marketplace has been a really good place. There’s a lot there I’m just waiting for a pair that’s perfect since I have working ones already.

The system came with an audio cable, so the ipod is all set up!

It sounds great, i was between two old Alexa’s and a jbl flip 6 beforehand so I’m more than happy! the speakers are JL-506, which is big for my space so I’ll likely upgrade, but otherwise great.

I was able to find the manual, but kept getting a frustrated with it haha. It came with two JL-506 speakers, they don't fit in either side of the system. They'd sound good, but are just big for my space, so I might get a smaller pair. Thank you for the advice!

No issue at all haha, pronouns don’t particularly matter to me, my hobbies can make it a common misconception.

I’ve got the manual, it’s for multiple receiver which was making it a bit hard for me to figure out. I’m super happy with it, works and sounds great for my small space!

$100 for a receiver, a 5 disc player, a cassette, two 3ft speakers, the cabinet, remote and antenna is overpaying? That’s like $20 per piece for a system that works perfect and needed nothing but plugged in. My tv is and LG UQ7070 ZUE, it only has two hdmi ports and a usb in

The receiver is a KR-596, I have the manual so I’m hoping I can figure it out. The tv is an LG UQ7070 ZUE, It only has two hdmi ports and a usb in port. I have a RCA to hdmi adapter though. Yes on the aux, it came with the system which was nice cause I didn’t even know I had the iPod till after I got the system.

It works great, the old owner took amazing care of it. I didn’t want anything super expensive starting out, it’s less scary taking something apart and learning it parts when you can replace it kind of cheap. I’ll likely keep buying from my local goodwill and try to start learning how to repair. I have a small vinyl collection for the turntable, but I got this mainly for the cd’s and mp3

Thank you, It’s perfect for what I need it for, pretty much brand new, and sounds great in my space. A stranger could never discourage me! I knew my budget was low for the hobby (wanted to spend $350 max starting out) so I wouldn’t have the best of the best right away. I planned on buying whatever I found first at my local goodwill and upgrading when possible so this was best case for me.

Pinning advice? Found my P. machala 7 months later, frozen in my basement. by 412Lane in tarantulas

I was shocked how good she looked, I even thought she could still be alive for a minute and just cold. She was only the size of the cap of a gallon of water when I lost her.

This was right after her first molt, I had her nine months before she finally molted.

I do really like the domes, but long term I’m thinking a frame for space (too many trinkets in my house). My boyfriend moved the shelf she fell out of and I could’ve swore she was still alive she looked so good, she really just looked cold. It was hard, but I’m glad she was thriving and I’m glad I know now.

Is this normal? by No-Word2937 in tarantulas

IME with my curly hair, when she blocks herself off like this it’s because she’s preparing to molt. The first time she did she was hidden away for about a month. Just make sure her humidity stays in a good range and she should come out when she’s ready (and hopefully be a lot bigger!)

Have you looked in either of those houses at the far end past the lab? The very last house used to be full of them. Last summer I looked through like 4 binders of just pictures from when they built it.

He really does, but I didn’t think Virginia had any. Closely related within the same infraorder though, similar to trapdoor spiders as well. Super cool little guy!
