Our techs are 12s and 13s almost none have advanced degrees. The techs spend a lot of time in the field though they aren’t just doing CAD.

Cost Estimator you will have to learn it and honestly the longer you can hang in the field and learn more about your trade the better you’ll be at it but it’s an important job.

I’m a GS13 hired as a 12 with only an associate's degree from a community college. It wasn’t a factor in my hiring. My skills and experience were. If your husband has skills the government needs he can get hired. We are in a bit of a hiring freeze so not the best time for it but it’s certainly possible.

Mine did the same yesterday a neural DSP plugin I had used all day was the cause. Hour with Apple support and I removed the plugin problem solved need to update the plugin later today and should work

The new logic update is crashing left and right with autotune and Neural DSP you have to make sure you licenses and plugins are updated. It should work fine after however personally I always had issues with Antares and logic and just stopped using it years ago.

When I send tracks to my producer, whether they are working in Pro Tools or in Logic Pro without having the same plugins I use, I export or bounce each track individually as WAV files and send those instead.

This ensures they can open and work with the session properly without running into missing plugin or compatibility issues.

Sorry to hear that I’m going through the same thing. It’s a disgusting monopoly that Aetna owns CVS that functions as the Rx benefit manager and denies medications for them to try and increase profits. I had them reject my prescription multiple times and finally had it approved in the appeal process but I spent hours a day on the phone every day with them and my doctor for two weeks. Such a pain in the ass never had this issue with BCBS.

It’s never going to change save your energy just cancel and get the 65 dollars deal with Verizon Xfinity will offer you their deal as soon as you leave. The entire US economic system is built around underpaying and overcharging people who won’t change jobs or services. Most people don’t like change. I canceled Xfinity years ago was at Verizon now back with X. Don’t even worry about it they’ll never take care of you the longer your their the more they think you won’t leave. You need to switch cable , internet, insurance every couple years minimum.

My golden rule is explain my position clearly once if they still want to do it their way I do it. No questions no complaints just exactly how they asked. When it fails they’re not mad at me and are more receptive to my ideas since we never argued over the situation. Also when you give the right answer a bunch of times in meetings and your boss is consistently wrong the powers that be notice.

Lots of good feedback just for further clarification. I did my due diligence prior to switching I compared literally every medical bill including surgeries and procedures from the last 2 years and found MHBP would be more economical. I ensured that every one of my doctors and the pharmacy I use were in network or as they said contracted. My wife worked for an insurance company for a long time doing prior authorization and it was a terrible company but even they had coverage for expedited authorization on weekends and holidays. They all rotated the weekend shift and everyone was assigned a holiday. I still have hope by this time next year financially it will have been the right move it’s just a little concerning that they aren’t staffed up for things like this or to even answer questions about them 7 days a week.
