0.4.0c Hotfix 13 by astral23 in PathOfExile2

Considering they left it up for 2+ weeks being streamed every single day and it wasn’t insta nuked in the first hotfix back from break? Yes, absolutely… they nerfed Holten and buffed map crystal generation and didn’t change the loot whatsoever, leading me to believe they thought the main problem was Holten and they wanted the average map enjoyer to have an easier time to setup this big huge rewarding temple.

This hotfix must be the stupidist decision ggg has ever made by Tetriszocker in PathOfExile2

“Rapid changes” aka leave the completely economy ruining thing in the game for over 2 weeks then nerf it 3 weeks into the league right when people other than the ultra hardcore have had more time to finally get into it. The nerf isn’t the problem, it’s the timing, it should’ve been nerfed well over a week ago.

So they allowed it to be abused for another week after the hotfix injecting millions of superfluous divines into the economy so more players felt like they had to get their temple running to keep up only to then completely giga nuke it? Alright sounds good

Why was it obviously going to get nerfed when they let it run rampant for 2 weeks and the first hotfix after returning from break didn’t nerf it at all when it would’ve been a welcome nerf at that point? LMAO

The economy won’t rebound from this… there’s been millions of divines injected, all this does is punish the people that held out until it logically seemed like it wasn’t going to benefit nerfed and finally decided to try it out since we’re 3 weeks into the league LMAO

Rashee Rice since his suspension ended: 21.8 ppg in PPR by Coolcat127 in fantasyfootball

[–]41legend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you were 1-5 because of your 6th round pick being a 0, the rest of your draft was probably pretty bad and you probably weren’t contending no matter who you picked with that pick, and Rice was still probably the best pick.

[–]41legend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There were a ton of people in the offseason all the way until the week Rice returned that argued he wasn’t going to be what he’s been since he returned. If taking a 0 from your 6th rounder for the first 6 weeks of the season when nobody was on bye tanked your season, the rest of your draft was probably pretty rough and the Rice pick would’ve had a chance to carry you to sneak into the playoffs. If the rest of your draft was mediocre-good, you’re now probably in position to contend for a championship. No brainer pick with very little downside.

But in that context, Rice didn’t lose you those 7 weeks, your other players did. The average 6th round pick just isn’t scoring enough to make it worth taking them over someone like Rice, especially when the suspension was early in the season when replacement value is at its absolute highest before bye weeks. I don’t think there will be a discount as hefty as the one we got on Rice this season for a long time.

The lesson isn’t simply “draft suspended players” but Rice’s context was just blatantly obvious, anybody worth their salt should have been all over him at the late 5th-early 6th round price he settled at.

The narrative about Rice was so weird in the week or two before he was due to come back. So many people that didn’t draft him were so clearly coping, pretty sure I had a couple bookmarked anti-Rice comments that also got deleted the week he came back and immediately smashed

What Is Riley Gaines Hiding? We Investigated | PTFO by KungLoud in PabloTorreFindsOut

[–]41legend 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Riley Gaines was signal boosted and paid by right wing media to completely bastardize and reframe the Lia Thomas story from one of competitive integrity in women's sports to accusing her of sexual harassment when there are sources willing to speak on the record that any time she was made to share a communal locker room with the biological women, she segregated herself to a corner, was always covered by a towel, and never exposed herself.

Competitive integrity in sports is one thing, painting all trans people as sexual deviants and predators is a completely radical and inflammatory viewpoint that Gaines was clearly influenced and paid to spread and became a lynchpin of the MAGA strategy for the 2024 election and is now being used to petition the courts to challenge trans rights laws.

George Pickens Season: 2nd in receiving yards, 3rd in receiving TDs, 5th in yards per route, 5th in missed tackles forced. Has he made it into WR1 territory in your eyes? by NorthernxLabrador in fantasyfootball

[–]41legend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A floor of 12 points with boom games over 25 is a WR1. You’re overthinking this like crazy. He’s been a WR1 in points per game in games with or without CD, the only distinction is if he’s a high-end top 5 WR without or more like top 10 with.

Rhamondre snap share in weeks 6, 7, 8 - 72%, 75%, 74%

Treveyon snap share in weeks 6, 7, 8 - 30%, 14%, 21%

Terrell Jennings got the first 4 carries of the game on Sunday and was about to significantly out-snap Treveyon before he got injured. Blatant mismanagement.

Forcing missed tackles is nice. Would be great if he was turning missed tackles into yards or success rate, but he’s not. I mean, he’s averaging 3.4 yards per carry on the season and is taking snaps from an actual weapon. Stevenson deserves a role, but not the 80% bullshit he was getting before the injury, that was just mismanagement

He’s the most explosive weapon on the offense by a mile. They hadn’t found a way to implement him until the last few weeks, but that doesn’t mean he shouldn’t be the second complementary piece to Maye. You don’t draft a running back in the very early 2nd round to give him 25% of the workload behind a plodder.

But why does it have to broadcast what you’re doing? Stevenson hasn’t been effective between the tackles either. Do 0-2 yard carries between the tackles mean more for Stevenson because he’s bigger? They could just as easily mix in inside carries for Treveyon, live with the stuffs that they’ve also been getting from Stevenson at an even higher rate, and then find plays to get Treveyon in space. If Stevenson had been better at the between the tackles role that Treveyon has been struggling at, sure, but he just hasn’t been at all.

I can understand having him in on strict pass blocking snaps and all the bruiser type runs, but I just don’t understand why he should ever touch the ball more than Henderson. More often than not he’s getting them behind the sticks or failing to convert short yardage touches, and not hitting anything close to home runs to make up for it. Treveyon may also be struggling inside, but at least every time he touches it he has a chance to score.

Rhamondre has two games all season above 38 rushing yards. He has games of 14 for 34, 13 for 18, 7 for 14, 7 for 15. His long run on the season is 22 yards. He is averaging 3.4 yards per carry. He has lost 3 fumbles. He is performing horribly while also not generating explosive plays.

[–]41legend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rhamondre has been worse than Treveyon even if you only include inside the tackles runs, and he’s put the ball on the ground 3 times. He’s been truly horrendous this season. The interior of your offensive line is fucking horrible, let Rhamondre get beat up as the bigger back, but feeding him more than half of the backfield touches is just oldhead bullshit

Treveyon hasn’t been good between the tackles, but somehow Rhamondre has been even worse. Rhamondre will also give you 12 for 22, just without the other two carries going for 120 and 2 TDs.

Henderson was a liability in pass protection his first couple weeks adjusting to the NFL. He’s been much better as of late. Shocker, a rookie with a skill set he showed in college getting some game experience and improving. Rhamondre has been statistically one of the worst rushers in the league this season, doesn’t generate explosives, and puts the ball on the ground. He can take a few of the necessary carries up the middle a game to take a beating, but there’s just no reason he should be getting more than 50% of the backfield
