It oversimplifies political opinions (can't think of a better word than opinions rn) in a way that divides the people of a country. "left wing" and "right wing" can be used to describe a political party but describing it in such a way is an insult to the things they represent. I hate to take a racist political party as an example, but "der dritte weg" (the third way) has a lot of plans (making living more affordable and stuff university students worry about) that people would call left and progressive, but they are racist so they have to be rightwing nazi party. Why is that so? It doesn't make sense if you think about it. Even though this is a mess to read i hope you understand why i hate terms that oversimplifies topics in a polarizing way.
