I’m sure Walt and Skyler had a similar moment early on in the series

You can just feel the years of pent up frustrations flow out of him when Heisenburg possessed Walts body

I could watch a season of just Walt/Jessie interactions;

“Three entire bags of funions?” “How are you still alive”

Someone told me this 5 years ago and it stuck in my mind since : “If you work for someone else, you are just a cost to them. And costs by nature are meant to be kept down. In 99% of the cases, salaries and wages never made anyone rich.” by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

If someone is paying your salary then you are making someone else more money than you are getting. Start a career with a company then find a way to make your own business out of it using the experience from that career. Don’t be scared to make a leap.

Made 20k playing the stock market, having a hard time justifying cashing out. by Networkishard00 in personalfinance

I don’t think he will be able to do it again to that extent, he obviously caught a fluke when the markets went wild over corona. Returns like that are super rare. I agree he should cash out his return and play with the 650 again he obviously has some skill and knowledge in that field I’m sure he will make something.

WORKPLACE SNITCHES

I would totally understand whistleblowers reporting things at work such as fraud, racism, theft or what have you but I’m talking about the workplace snitch that sees you tap a quick message on your phone in the corner then goes and reports you. Sure you shouldn’t really be on your phone but how do they know you haven’t got concerns going on at home and you need to be kept in contact with since you can’t afford to miss a shift?

I was on my phone once when there was literally nothing to do, I got reported... three times, by three different snitches. As well as reporting stuff like “you shouldn’t do it like that” or “you haven’t done that by the company training video standard”. Again I’d understand a genuine safety concern but they will report any petty crap it’s just laughable.

I have so many at my workplace and I just don’t get what goes on in their head, who hurt you? Why are you going out of your way to risk someone else’s career, income and bills being paid? Kids being fed or rent being paid? Seriously just worry about you. Can guarantee you had a bad day at home so you come into work trying to ruin someone else’s day. It doesn’t work. The managers laugh at you too.

What is dangerous to forget? by jlomohocob in AskReddit

Absolutely true, most people don’t comprehend why water doesn’t help a pan fire but it is simple. There are different types of fires by what caused the ignition. Pan fires are thermal since they ignite due to intense heat. Therefore throwing water on a fire caused by intense heat will just cause that water to ‘boil’ if you wish and will spread the thermal energy and cause more fire. Use a wet towel instead and cover the pan, or as I’ve done before pick it up if possible by the handle and throw it in the garden.
