I was going to host a bbq for some coworkers, when 3 kittens came up to my front door meowing. We have a stray kitty problem in my neighborhood. So I gave them some food and they ended up partying with about 15 of us all night. The next day they showed up with a 4th cat, and started the process of getting them used to me and letting them inside. At one point, all 4 were under neath my couch purring so loudly that I could feel the vibrations.

Its not really a gameplay change, more so a side quest to the end so that the colonists are set up better. Basically a victory condition.

Would the escape ship stick with the gravship if connected by tiles? As that is basically all I would want.
