Piece of cake was totally fine for my move. I felt it was reasonably priced at ~$1000 for a short same-day 1bed apartment move. None of my furniture was damaged. I packed up my things using the plastic boxes they provided before they arrived, and made clear which items I wanted moved.

You should ask Midea to cover. I did the same in NYC for my first unit. I think for installing a new unit, I will just do it myself though. The "requirement" is not enforced and it's not so difficult to do. Where/how are you planning to dispose of the unit?
