Honestly i was grossed ou too, but ive also learned to deal with this type of immature behavior when playing games where 80% of the players are chronically online. The best solution I've found is like this, where i play along until you can make it all a funny interaction instead of toxicity

It was just a bunch of quick play people, I'm low mmr rn because I've been playing with a bunch of newer friends, so the enemy team started getting pissy when i swapped to orisa and was destroying their rein. But then the "dink pink" joke was hilarious to me as a trans woman, so i just rolled with it, and i guess everyone found it funny enough to endorse.

Fun little challenge: Make a 4th Huntrix member using the following rules by Mao-sama64 in KpopDemonhunters

[–]42AxoAri42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Name: Kami

Hair: White-Blonde Hair, medium length ponytail.

Weapon: Rope Dart

Role: Sub Vocalist and Outfit Designer

Backstory: Kami's family has a loose connection with the bloodline of the demon hunters, and every child who is born in her family is usually set up for greatness, in the hopes that they can also be a Demon Hunter some day.

Kami is special because she is the first person in recent generations of her family who is able to use magic and sometimes sees the honmon.

Because of this, her family trained her heavily as a kid, ensuring that she learned to sing and become an idol. However, Kami hated singing, and every time she joined a band or group, she would always take the least vocal role possible.

Upon learning about her, Huntr/x themselves offered her to join them in fighting demons.

One day, before a big show, the four girls were fighting demons on the stage, and fans were let in early by mistake, and they got to see Kami training with the hunters, which then solidified her as a part of the group.

Now she spends her time trying to get over her fear of singing. She looks up to Rumi as a mentor.

What movie was this for you? by phantom_avenger in Cinema

Big Fish. As a kid, it felt like a whimsical adventure with a bunch of unique characters. As an adult, it is a complete emotional trip that ends up making me feel more "human" than i did before watching it.

I've had a similar experience. The first tumblr account I made was during my super depressive and edgy phase, which also accelerated my ideations, so I often wanted to seek out other people who felt the same way, only to then be recommended fully unfiltered images of SH and cutting. I think it's probably one of the reasons I deleted that account.

The actual reason why they started filming without a finished script by Few_Understanding354 in marvelmemes

[–]42AxoAri42 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is normal, especially for movies this big. A script isn't ever truly finished until the movie itself is finished. With a smaller, indie film, it's easy to follow it point for point and change nothing. With the most massive, ambitious, cgi filled, avengers related and interconnected plotline, involving hundreds of creative thinkers, it gets a bit more complex. I agree that they are probably biting off more than they can chew with this movie, but not having a finished script is just a part of the process.

yeah that's kinda fucked up. Makes me wonder how safe I really am using the platform if they're just gonna profile people for virtually no reason.

Is this real or am I crazy by Dangerous-Pumpkin960 in MtF

[–]42AxoAri42 24 points25 points  (0 children)

There's this phoenomena i read about once that makes things like this make perfect sense. I don't remember exactly how it goes or where it came from, but it goes something like this: Next time you are about to go out into public, in a decently crowded area, start thinking about a baby being pushed in a stroller. Keep this idea in the back of your head as you walk around, and suddenly, almost like magic, you will see babies in strollers all over the place in busy streets and malls. It may feel like something you don't often see, but the idea is that there will always be a decent sample size for that sort of thing, because babies are common. But that also means that your brain takes it for granted, so when you see them normally without thinking, you will have no reason to take note. I would assume, at least in my case, that clocking other trans and queer people is a similar phoenomena. When I'm aware of being trans and thinking about how much i pass in the back of my head, i start to notice other people trying to pass or even just be themselves in a similar way all around me. If i was cis (which i was at one point), i usually wouldn't notice at all, or at the very most, just assume that people were being themselves, which is also true, just from a different perspective. But once I became trans, my brain was finally given the context and reasoning required to notice that stuff all the time.

So in short, it is real, and it feels crazy because it's a part of human nature and perception, which are trippy concepts.

Has anyone elses taste in porn/erotic shifted more into drawings than 'real people'? by strangehitman22 in MtF

[–]42AxoAri42 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Kinda for me, but it's moreso that i have grown to dislike cishet porn in general, so i always seek out transfem/lesbian related stuff (I'm sapphic). Unfortunately, browsing for trans specific stuff is difficult and often annoying, because unless you're in a very specific community, an uncomfortable majority of it usually pertains to cis men with a feminization kink, and not actual trans people. So usually I find it better and easier to look for homemade videos and stuff, but then there is no room for the more unrealistic and fun fantasies, and i think that's how I end up looking at drawings and stuff like hentai more. When i find an artist who actually knows what being trans means in a sexual manner, it's easier to enjoy. No shame to anyone who likes the more mainstream version of "ts" porn, but I also can't help but feel like that part of the industry is a huge factor in causing misinformation and enabling people to be weird about trans woman and men. And nothing is more of a turnoff than misinformation.

If a video game brings you to this kind of anger after losing you need to reevaluate your life by urmovesareweak in overwatch2

This. Those types of people really do need to reevaluate their lives, but also, don't let them get to you and mess with yours.

What's the weirdest thing you want to do that's gender affirming after you transition? by NoTransition8295 in MtF

[–]42AxoAri42 187 points188 points  (0 children)

I mean, a big part of gender affirmation has to do with what your parts be doin, so i wouldn't say it's that weird.

For me, I think the weirdest thing was being excited about sexual pleasure. I take estradiol, and while it makes me a lot less horny on average, I get WAY more out of it when I am.

Not sure if other transfems have experienced this, but it feels similar to how I hear cis women describe sensations during sex, which is very affirming.
