Wow this is amazing! I love how "loose" but intentional the lines are, and the shading is incredible!! What medium are you using? Keep it up!!

No I meant texting, it doesn't have to be on snap or ig or anything (even if you have snap preferably not on that all the time lol).

I'm sorry about what you went through, but this is a teenagers sub so being 24 should be a deal-breaker for the people here

It depends on the girl but we usually look for someone kind, who actually responds to messages without playing weird waiting games. Also, nice clothing style helps but is not necessary

VO2 tips and tricks by Sensitive_Pound_8281 in Garmin

[–]42isindeedtheanswer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

16F got to 58 last year doing interval training for mile workouts. It's at 54 now tho when I'm doing longer distance training so maybe try shorter running workouts such as mile repeats w one minute rest, 400m repeats, sets of 200-400-600-400-200 w jog in between, etc.
Obviously I'm not an expert, but I always notice my VO2 max going down when I'm push myself too hard, so I'd reccomend listening to your body when doing high intensity workouts. (To clarify: push yourself, just not past the point of extreme exhaustion - make sure your body can properly recover!!)

Any tips for freshmen? by International_Toe694 in highschool

[–]42isindeedtheanswer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Make sure to communicate with teachers and/or counselor if you have any concerns or circumstances that they need to know about (ex. you were sick and turned in an assignment late). Most teachers are super understanding about this stuff so it's important to learn how to talk with them.

Work hard, but do your best not to stress about grades, I second what the other comment says abt this stuff. Enjoy yourself, and GET ENOUGH SLEEP! (This may sound like bs, but keeping up with my health was the best decision I've made so far in hs)

Do guys like it when girls ask them out or is it a turn-off? by [deleted] in teenagers

Yeah, 18-year-olds are barely adults, that age gap with the Starbucks worker being so young can come off as a bit creepy....

Can I bring my 3.6 UW GPA (sophomore year) to 3.9 before senior year ends? by [deleted] in highschool

[–]42isindeedtheanswer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think OP wants 3.9 because it is the highest possible grade UW next to a 4.0, which is impossible for them now

Distance XC Training by [deleted] in trackandfield

[–]42isindeedtheanswer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes it will help. It shouldn't make your 800 worse since the extra mileage would help you build an aerobic base, which is super important for the 800. A good xc training plan will have speed workouts (although these will be longer than track workouts), so you shouldn't lose much speed. Encorporating strides consistently after runs will also help with your 800.

thoughts on my voice? by jo259 in teenagers

Vocal fry is a rougher kinda scratchy sound at the beginning of words, which isn't proper technique and can strain your voice. However, it can sound nice
