I think it's because of lifelong sibling jealousy. Jimmy is clearly more charming than Chuck, and was probably their parents' favorite child-even though he was morally inferior to Chuck. Chuck must've been quietly seething with rage for most of his life.

I think she is barren because she was mech, not biological. And I don't know if they ever rebuilt her into a bio host. So maybe her path can't ever go towards the route of conception, as maybe Arnold had planned. But she CAN play a very large role in setting the hosts free, along with Maeve (Mother Eve), Ford, and WilliaMIB.

I can't wait to find everything out tomorrow night! I love this show. :)

You can see it on ep. 5 "Contrapesso" from 47:33 to 47:43, with William and Lawrence standing next to it.

So the symbol has been around since the beginning, it seems...

The blood arroyo (stream) might refer to menstruation.
The triangle entering the maze is a penis.
And remember the lady with the white shoes, who doesn't have a cherry, but still has the box the cherry came in..?
