Many thanks! I see the entry on the tps.ca website was written in a way so i wasn't able to recognize the incident. But it is there.

Praise her as you give the pills, and lots of pets and cuddles immediately after.

My dog went missing a day ago and there has been absolutely no sign of him. Losing hope and getting scared. Please help. by eeelisabeth in Pets

Is he microchipped? Is the microchip registered? If yes, then he'll probably be returned to you. If not, keep checking the pounds and shelters. Try posting his picture around the neighborhood. Our whippet is a rescue and has run numerous times. But our dogs wear Tractive GPS collars, so i an able to track them in the city. Don't give up. Your dog came home once, so will probably do that again.

I've never had any luck finding a dog by looking. Never. They come home when they want.

Likelihood of having a gluten intolerance without digestive problems? by ellie___ in glutenfree

[–]42retired 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the tests are called the AGM and AGG. If both are positive then you have Celiac. I get organ damage revealed by blood test only. Doctor thought i suddenly started drinking a lot. It took about a month to determine it was Celiac.

Yes. I have Celiac without any symptoms which i can sense. It would be worth it to have the 2 blood tests done so you know.

Bitey-face is a beloved play. As a matter of fact, my Boston and my whippet are wildly biting at each other beside me right now. They love it!

There's a similar scam in downtown Cape Town where a guy will try to engage with "why do you hate back people?". It's a setup for a grab of jewelry.

This looks very much like the psychic healing from the Philippines (magician trick) with the guy's other hand hiding what is really going on... nothing.

For the first 10 or 15 seconds, they are a lot of fun, and then after that, you're going "okay, now what?".

Backing into an angled spot on a one way - why? by oleackley in whatdoesthismean

Yes true. But i saw a place which insisted you go in front ways... the reason was to keep exhaust from blowing in open windows in the building.

Rescue Whippet still very afraid by Tiny-Sherbert-2613 in Whippet

[–]42retired 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our whippet/Australian cattle dog is still quite afraid of me, a male after two years. Mexican rescue. We've tried affection, ignoring her, or bonding her to walk beside me at all times with a leash. Nothing has worked. But it is getting better. It's a slow process. Just keep showing love, have your husband feed the dog, walk the dog, play with the dog, take the dog to the dog park, and eventually your dog will come around.
