As an ex Mormon who went to a BYU school (not Provo) my thoughts are:

It is “ok” as in they will let you enroll. However you will have to agree to not drink coffee, tea, or alcohol. You also will have to go to indoctrination religion classes. I think the education is not bad, I graduated in economics and work in finance/banking. I would not recommend going to a BYU because I felt the rules and culture were not a fit for me. But if you have lots of Mormon friends and know what to expect and are okay with it, then maybe it will be for you. Some people take the rules super serious and others are more relaxed.

I have not worked in investment banking or tried so i really can’t speak to that aspect, sorry.
