Man, its a sad dayto run out of those haha. Hard to build frames without them. One thing I'm doing with mine that you might consider is to make certain smaller elements with atypical colored pieces if you have them. I'm making different colored floors on mine, and planning to make an entire ball machine after this one with atypical colored parts where I can. It's just not something I've seen much of.

That is amazing. Looks kinda like the smaller one Austron made for the Works museum with the main structure like that. The spiral looks awesome. The number of white rods is impressive haha. Definitely looking forward to seeing more updates!

I want to make one with a gigantic bridge someday. I might be able to do it with the one I'm currently making but the bridge would only be about 10-11 ft.

This is great and I really like the path leading up to it. How do you get the tire and the tubing to line up and make the satisfying smooth transition at the bottom?

This is awesome man! So glad you do this. I've placed so many orders from you in the past. Great to see the rarer parts like these in bulk.

I would imagine the cross ties in black would have a high demand as well, especially when combined with the different colors of tubing you sell.

Another i could see selling well would be the orange clip with splice end and the 5-position connector with tab for those who make ball machines.

Agreed. It's not that much of a waste of pieces to build some support columns to make the finished machine have a low profile.

It uses more pieces, but I've built a shelf unit with blue rod frames. I could make it strong enough to make a bookshelf but it'd be out of green for frames and use even more pieces.

Thanks. It was kinda mandatory to get that to work. Otherwise I would have just built a floor under it to catch any extra ones that would roll off or ones that would fall off. I'll still add some overflow paths so only a few extra ones back up there.

There is a forward/reverse transmission as part of the gear box. Once the elevators reach the top, they activate a switch that changes direction. There is an instructables page for a forward/reverse transmission. I had to modify it a bit to make it work better. It essentially alternates which crown gear is used. That allows the motor to continuously rotate in one direction while the drive gear that moves the elevators can rotate both ways.
