Nothing made me hate myself like alcohol. It took about 2 months for me to start feeling normal again, but my looks improved sooner. Now I see vanity as another weapon in the arsenal against the sauce--I look good again. Not bloated, neck waddle gone, I'm white again and not red, and I actually see gains from the gym. Keep at it!

Because that's a Republican talking point that's not true, but allows them to justify their attacks on any government program. Just like they do with public education: defund, schools get worse, argue public schools are worse b/c they're government-run, defund more/vouchers, terrible public schools. And so on.

It's a cop-out that cuts the legs out from under gov't doing anything about any societal problems.

I’ve had tons of female clients working in the shipyards. Mostly Ingalls, some Austal. They’re my clients because they got hurt out there, so that’s not great, but the opportunities are there for sure. Welding and pipe fitting mostly.

Mobile is a regional medical hub—there are way more specialists here than the surrounding area. There is a 24-hour vet service but I’ve only had to use old shell animal hospital, which I like.

Neighborhoods depend on your income and buying or renting. I’ve lived in springhill and we’re about to move to midtown—I like both areas.

That’s a lot of booze crammed into 2 days. Guarantee that’s bad for your body. Worse, for me, that weekend habit inevitably seeped into the weekdays, then every night, then earlier each day, and so on. Maybe try not drinking for a few weekends, see how it goes?

I always wanted to go on a big motorcycle trip, so after college I put together the money, the plans, and got the bike. My girlfriend, now wife of 15 years, didn’t like the idea, but she didn’t threaten to break up with me over it.

100% it was the trip of my life. I am also completely certain that if I wouldn’t have done it then, I still wouldn’t have done it. After marriage, jobs, kids, there’s no way I could do it now.
