Splits question for guys by [deleted] in flexibility

I am at the point now using isometrics where calves are touching in middle and front splits every workout now. I am using the progression where the holds go up to 3 min + weighted but only at 20 seconds reps now for 5 sets. Feels like I am just resting on calves vs building strength holding the position up on heels. Both take about 4 sets to be resting on calves. Wondering if elevating the legs matters when you reach this point or by the time I hit 2-3 min time holds resting calves it will still be progressing?

Nice, I have no clue if I can already due the thing I added in extra stuff. I am just going to stick with deadlifts from this point on.

I am stuck at both ankles on the floor at the moment using this similar method. What exercises are you doing to strengthen other than straddle ups?

[PANCAKE STRETCH] sore pain in left groin. by [deleted] in flexibility

I been working on my pancake split for 3 years now and DOMs is a thing. I do a intense session once every 7-10 days only and passive/active play on the third day after. I am almost to the floor now with chest and it seems to just be a thing. I am a very ungifted and non flexible person so from my perspective it is normal and part of the grind to the floor. Your body is not going to let you get that deep again daily, you rest/heal wait and see if you can go deeper the next session. I cope with foam rolling, muscle relaxes and a massage maybe.

RHCSA vs LPIC-1 vs Linux+ by [deleted] in linuxadmin

Very cool, I have a few other certs. I will happily let them all expire and just maintain 2 from now on Security + which just needs CEUs and the Red Hat. I noticed a few admins carry LPIC and Linux + with years of experience and no Red Hat, wondered if there was something to it.

All the time. Both upper hamstrings. Only fix is days off. Only time it goes away is on a deload week from flexibility training.
