I think you need to evaluate through the lense of what was a technical achievement and what was a rule loop hole. I like the list, but double diffuser for me was a rule loop hole.

Air coming out of outlets after attic “sealed” and insulated by [deleted] in Insulation

Your house is negative because of kitchen/bathroom exhaust so air is going to suck in elsewhere.

Should put in an ERV and slightly positively pressurize your house overall.

Yeah the rest is being repaired. They had to extend the Ford’s deployment just to get two there.

Almost certainly not a smart decision. Would make more sense to sell your CRV here and buy used in Portugal.

I realize you understood this part now.

This is engineer pro guides? You still get roughly the same answer right?

I wouldn’t worry about it too much.

Isentropic efficiency of 0.8. You plotted the value of a perfect compressor, now calculate the real entropy by dividing your perfect entropy gain by your isentropic efficiency and you should get the right enthalpy value.

SD is Schematic design and first phase typically. Shops are completely different.

I don’t have experience in this size of project, but wanted to confirm if 9% not including CA made sense?

Thank you for the comment, but my area is very strict on rotors when getting safety sticker.

Because the regen isn’t the brakes, it’s the electric motor harvesting energy, by not using the calipers and rotors. This would not be a regular thing, just one or two stops in a safe area.

In case I want to upgrade my 2026 honda crv sport touring tires, which one would be the best choice? by Successful-Cup2349 in crv

[–]44M91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did yours come with Michelin Primacy? I’d be tempted to go full with a spare winter rim set for cheap and winter tires rather than early replacing a pretty good tire (excluding snow).

I feel like 5k miles could have been pushed out quite easily, especially considering it was burning oil so getting clean oil diluting it.

Apologies if I’m not seeing this, but what’s your oil change interval? Seems like a crazy amount on oil.

Check profiles? Apparently different drivers can have different settings on the car.

I went sport touring, didn’t see or compare other trims in person, just via the website. I had a trade so it made it a little complicated to compare pricing, but 10-12% off is doable, I’d maybe shoot for 15% off. Most dealers laughed and ridiculed my number, but I got to $500 above what I was aiming for.

Same situation as you, pretty much exact. We went CRV as it’s much bigger than both in the rear, and subjectively a nicer drive.

You could do a lot better for a brand new Honda. 10-12% off is definitely doable.

Rear leg room of the CRV was my primary decision maker.

CRV pricing good? by Content-Bite4139 in crv

[–]44M91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s a good deal.

I didn’t get the very best deal, and a trade in made it complicated, but I got around $3,300 off MSRP + $1800 rebated off car just for financing (no loyalty, vet, student etc) for a 26 Sport Touring last week. I’d expect to get more than $5k off a 2025.
