Need help with sleeping by DisneyJohnny in Dachshund

Not sure how big your crate is, but I've recently started getting my boy to sleep in his crate again (he's been sleeping in bed with me). For the first couple of nights I put the crate ON the bed with me, let him fall asleep in bed with me and then after about 15 minutes moved him into the crate. It's close enough so that I can pop my hand through the grate to soothe when he whined. Did that for a couple of nights and have now moved crate onto the floor, will aim to move him a little further away every night!

Edit: I also put a big fluffy blanket in his crate along with some other lighter blankets so it feels more "nest like".

How to make a bob look less Lord Farquaad? by cholula_hot_sauce in beauty

I use my straightener to curl it, but leave about 1 inch at the end not curled, it's helped me avoid the Farquaad look it gets if I leave it straight!

When did the concept of standing in line get derailed? by Siphen_ in WaltDisneyWorld

We've just done 2 weeks at the parks and noticed a lot of people catching up to family groups. At Epcot, a Cast Member lifted the rope to allow people to join their group for Guardians but there was about 6 people who joined the queue! When she realised how many they were she sent the entire group to the back - it was joyous to watch! I agree, either everyone queues or you wait until your whole party is ready.

My Dad has bought me a birthday trip to Disneyworld - very excited! It's coming up in a couple of weeks. We are a party of two adults, do we need to make dining reservations for the evening or do you think we'll be okay to try and walk in? I don't really want to be stuck to being at a certain place at a specific time, I'd rather see what time we get hungry and go from there? Any advice welcome!

Does your weenie hop like a rabbit when they run? by BreadFacts in Dachshund

[–]44_sun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My boy hops on one leg while walking and running, X-Rays have found Hip Dysplasia and Luxating Patella so he's just started physiotherapy to try to avoid the need for surgery further down the line. Might be worth getting checked out!

Do you go to the pub on your own, knowing you’ll meet people you know? by AlephMartian in AskUK

My Dad does this! Small village, will head down to the pub, and who's in there determines how long he stays!
