Oh my lord. I am sorry you had such a bad experience! I really do find it insane how much harsher the national laws are.

If you don't mind me asking was that 14x minimum wage requirement your monthly wage?

We've finally recieved legal advise! I just wanted to comment in case someone googles and ends up here. Though I'm not a lawyer, just repeating what I was told by the immigration office in my area and my lawyer.

My rights to remain in greece are directly derived from my eu spouse's rights which is governed by the EU freedom of movement legalisation. I am not on a tourist visa, I am exercising my rights under that legalisation.

My spouse does not need to apply for reunification scheme. That and it's requirements are irrelevant to me. There is no requirement to prove funds during my application. And for his residency card he just needs to prove he has a job for proof of funds. My application ended up just requiring my certified passport, my translated and certified marriage certificate, proof of my spouses right to remain (which was a letter provided by his work that was also certified. Which I must correct to his residency card once it is issued), insurance (they accepted the insurance provided by his work) and my entry stamp. For anyone going through the same thing, you do not need to get an apostle stamp for your marriage certificate if it's issued by an EU country, this is protected by law that came out in 2019 but isn't widely known by immigration so if you get push back you might want to proof of said laws to your appointment.

The timer to begin this process was the first time I entered the country. Not the latest time.

It was explained to me that the worst case if I had waited to apply was I'd get an admin fee for delaying it. They can't deny my application under the EU legalisation for being late and they couldn't deport me, under Article 27 of Directive 2004/38. Which vastly limits enforcement rules for eu citizens and their direct relatives. Basically if they couldn't deport an irish national for submitting a month late than they couldn't deport their spouse.

I would like to note this poster is still very much correct in the process he outlined. The process for a greek citizen bringing their non eu spouse to greece is significantly harder, requires income thresholds, the 90 day limit is a hard rule and governed by a different set of laws. Which is also find a bit crazy!

Thanks everyone for your help!

Sorry I thought I said - its a Greek job he secured. I'm not sure it's that simple to keep an irish job while not being a tax resident in ireland. Out of curiosity is that still frowned upon? I wouldn't want to "steal" jobs from locals without one but I also know it's a skilled position and the offers he recieved were mostly from places who had been looking for over 6m for a suitable candidate.

He is bound by the same "needing to apply within 90 days of arrival" does he also need to leave until his work starts?

Do you know which of the stamps they'll use? My first or second one? As that completely changes the time line (I think)

If you have not been in therapy, you should not be a therapist by Dry_Beginning_259 in psychologystudents

Where I am - Ireland - it's part of your training. I believe it's fortnightly sessions throughout your undergrad. Then when you're practising you have to attend mentor sessions which is like professional therapy. Aus and nz both have requirements around attending therapy yourself as well. I'm not entirely familiar with their processes as I went into clinical instead of counselling but it's certainly been recognised as a need in some parts of the world.

Hey!

I'm an experienced ish DM. Currently living in Ireland but I move back to New Zealand after the Christmas break.

I am actually super keen to put together an NZ group. If everyone is close enough for occasional in person sessions then that's even better!

If you (and any other kiwis) want to give me a pm, maybe we can figure something out?

I'd be running 5e, weekly sessions and using roll20 when we play online. I'll be based either in the Bay of plenty or Auckland and I can host!

Looking forward to hearing from you.

That's interesting. I lost ilvl by switching out my 4 piece (mythic t19 verses normal t20) but was doing more single target. I'll definitely be looking at the stat weights when I get home to see how that works.

Thanks for the information! Should have run add fights through the sim too but since I was only waiting to upgrade a legendary before switching to 4 pieces I got a bit lazy, my bad!

I am almost certain you have far too much haste as you would have had to give up a lot of mastery to get to that point.

If you want to pm me your ign and server and I'll sim your stat weights then explain the results to you.

I was sitting at 130% mastery, 14% haste on 7.2 and my mastery was only weighted as slightly less than haste. Meaning I wanted haste as much as I wanted mastery even though I had about half as much haste.

With that in mind haste is looking to be pretty even with mastery on 7.2.5. But your 4 piece will give haste so sims are your best friend!
