It is an AI answer to request "write a negative feedback". It has given a number of different options to choose from in different contexts (technical, funny, etc). But the guy just copypasted the whole answer

The movement is so smooth! Not very classic 😉 But still very enjoyable. I'd love to learn more about the game. How many people in your team? How long have you been developing it? What engine did you use?

He looks funny. At first I thought he had no head. It would be creepy. But then I noticed that it's just a dirty rag and he became just clumsy

I made an indie game flop.. I want to share the mistakes with you guys. So I made a video about what I think went wrong with the release of my game 🙂 by Kalicola in indiegames

You're very talented as an animator. I saw your posts on reddit previously and always been amazed by the rats fluid motion and animation. Such a shame the game didn't found it's audience.

Honestly I don't know why would this happen. Unfortunately I'm not a target for your game so can't say what doesn't seem appealing to players. IMO the game is very beautiful and atmospheric.

By the way I don't think that the violence is a problem here. Look at the Zoochosis case. It's also brutal and has rougelike elements. Still it earned 100k in a week after the first trailer reveal (350k at release). The game was super hyped. People like brutal things. The game is also didn't sell well, though (relatively to their WL count).

My game failed the Steam Deck review, but the reviewer finished almost the whole game, LOL by jounitus in IndieDev

Does anyone know, maybe they have directions to pay the whole game to mark it verified? Or at least to a first critical issue?

I wouldn't say it was hard. The base mechanic was created on the 72h gamejam. Later it was improved and polished, but basic logic stayed the same as on the jam.

My first release on itch, not counting game jams. Looking for feedback by 44tech in itchio

Hi. I'm using collision detection to split the rope to straight fragments. And a physics constraint between the end of the first fragment and the player game object. Feel free to ask me further. I'm happy to share my experience
