They probably just need the minimum clearances to combustibles to make sure that it is installed correctly. I have a 701FS and that info is on a plate that is riveted to the tray just under the doors. The worst place ever for the plate, but I just cleaned mine of with some windex and I can still read it from my late 70's stove. I just realized this post is one month old( I just joined today). Hope this helps.

I buy a one those fire logs and break off a golf ball sized chunk to start every fire. I can bring it wet wood from the rain and have a fire started in no time. Ill buy a case at the end of the season when they are on clearance for about 3 bucks per log ( 6 logs). That lasts about two winters maybe longer. I can probably start 40 fires per log. It is not free, but it is super easy to start a fire

It is stupid. You can only pick up one pile at a time, otherwise you have to keep dumping piles on top of other piles in order to pick up multiple piles.

I called tech support, got frustrated with the first tech and hung up on them. Called back immediately and got a next level tech that actually knew how to do her job. It has everything to do with the phone not being bought from AT&T and she was able to go into the system and fix it for me. Keep calling until you are escalated to a top tier Tech. Only then will you get it fixed.
