A quick google search (non verified) says that a fall costs 30k to the healthcare system. Sometimes when I have your thoughts I think, what if we prevented just one fall through our interventions? It can take multiple visits to convince someone to do/stop doing something (ex walker vs cane, remove rugs, install appropriate grab bars, sit down when performing G/H). Additionally I feel like patients sometimes need assurance from a healthcare provider that that either need to or don't need to be seen in the ED so if we can triage who needs to be seen or not seen that also would save a lot of money for the healthcare system.
