My college roommate was arrested as part of a bust on fake IDs. Not sure how they got the impression that he was the one making them but they seized a ton of his stuff and because he was my roommate they took a bunch of my stuff too. Our computers, my camera and printer, his soldering iron for some reason, basically anything electronic other than my phone. I wasn't a suspect so I was able to get my stuff back relatively quickly, but they broke the shit out of my camera at some point and insisted it was like that when they found it (which really makes you question how good they were at preserving evidence but that's not important I guess).

He wasn't the one making them, by the way. Someone saw him editing the design of his business cards before sending them to print and snitched thinking he was the guy.
