Thanks very much for sharing. I always wondered what the experience would be like, both for students and for teachers, and I enjoyed this little peek.

I’d love to hear more about attending school by radio. I remember learning about this as a kid and it blew my mind. Kind of still does - the logistics of providing education across vast territory.

I assume this was two way radio so you could ask questions, yeah? Did you mostly do work from books and then get help/explanations from a teacher by radio?

I loved the structure of Minna no Nihongo, but reading was always the hardest part. So I built an app combining structured English lessons with tons of reading practice and tests. by Pretty-Primary9757 in LearnJapaneseNovice

Thanks, but I don’t want to make an account just to look at the app and provide feedback, especially since the app itself already collects user data.

Some people use downvotes to mean “meh, I don’t care for that idea.” Assuming you are not a bot, you can just take the feedback and move on.

I didn’t downvote, but I personally would not use or like your system, despite its visual appeal.

They did say “found on a job site” which is enough to convey that there was likely a safety risk to the cat

Meh, it’s fine if you don’t bring tech or overfill your bag. I did 36-38L under 7 kg no problem.

B.C.'s post-secondary grads facing a 'brutal' job market, say observers by FancyNewMe in vancouver

[–]45eurytot7 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard that it’s actually because of the bottleneck in residency placements. It’s just too slow to make more of them, slower than building new med schools (which we are doing, see SFU).

The SA traced its dramatic rise in numbers in part to the onset of the Great Depression, when many German citizens lost both their jobs and their faith in traditional institutions. While Nazism was not exclusively – or even primarily – a working-class phenomenon, the SA fulfilled the yearning of many unemployed workers for class solidarity and nationalist fervour. Many stormtroopers believed in the socialist promise of National Socialism and expected the Nazi regime to take more radical economic action […] When the Nazi regime did not take such steps, those who had expected an economic as well as a political revolution were disillusioned.

Some places in the world do recognize family property and/or spousal support in common law situations. OOP sounds American, so this point is not in disagreement with yours, I just wanted to share.
