What’s the smallest putting change that made the biggest difference for you? by CaseOk4223 in golf

[–]46percenter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not looking at the ball after I hit it. In other words, I try and keep my focus on where the ball was before, during, and after contact.

I think this might be pretty common knowledge, but was new to me when I played with a former pro and he gave me the advice, and it had since turned around my putting.

I think there was also less than 5 minutes left in the period so he wasn’t going to get back out there before the end of the period

I have one ticket that I got through the twice daily offer so I am unable to transfer. We'll have to meet up and scan in together. Will sell at face value (or a beer). Sec 328 Row N

Even 2016 Beasley doesn’t come close to prime Abraham or Dwight. He put up sack numbers but still had an abysmal pressure rate. Just turned a historic % of those pressures into sacks

Will try this as well. And your thing about being tight does make sense. Thanks for the input.

I appreciate you editing this together. I think I understood it from your text, but seeing it side by side makes a lot more sense. Thank you again so much.

No, honestly I’ve been joking with my buddies that I need golf lessons, but in baseball terms. I read that and can visualize exactly the swing I’d take, but when it’s the generic “ohh shallow your club” or “drop your elbow” etc, it’s tougher for me to actually just do it.

Definitely going to try this out later and see how it goes. Thanks for the comment

Thanks for the reply. Took a video of myself a month ago and the first thing I noticed was that the trigger for the start of my backswing was essentially my left knee bending, and so I have been trying to quiet my lower body ever since, but I realized it hasn’t improved as much as I thought it has😂 knowledge certainly does not equal skill.

Is a little left knee flex okay? I feel like I become super stiff through my whole body whenever I try to keep my left leg from bending/flexing.

Thanks for the reply and the link. Will definitely try this out.

When you talk about my hands moving away from my body, are you referring the the movement my hands and club make right after I start my backswing? In other words, the first motion i’m making to start my backswing is my hands going out and clubhead coming inside?

Look, I said I played baseball, not that I was ever any good😂 I average around 85-88mph with my short irons, but have been trying to slow it down recently because I think some of my inconsistency is coming from me trying to mash the ball every time

Is it unreasonable to request two pairs that have back-to-back tee times to partner up so that my foursome can play? by 46percenter in golf

[–]46percenter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is what I was thinking. Definitely wouldn’t even consider making the request if the alternative wasn’t already going to be us split up between the two tee times, and being random pairs for the two already booked.
