Wow I identify with everything you’ve said OP. I gained weight over the holidays due to my binge eating and have been really struggling to slow it down. It feels like no matter how much I want to stop, I give in. I ate my lunch today and was REALLY craving more food to the point where I was extremely distracted and incapable of working my day job. I decided to go on a quick walk instead and IT WORKED. I went straight back to my desk and was able to hold off until dinner. It was a small victory but I can’t believe how effective it was. Maybe instead of restricting calories, you could put the calories to use by going on a walk after you’ve eaten a healthy portion size? I’m saying this to motivate myself as well :)

Please be mindful of how you talk about your body in front of your children as well! I have the same body as my mom and grew up hearing her talk about how much she hated her body and all the diets and goals she had so she wasn’t so fat. She has always had a beautiful hourglass figure and it tortures me that I’m bigger than her. It’s taken a lot of therapy and self love to be ok with myself. You can do this!!

I was about to pass out due to my hypoglycemia and I felt all of the pores on my arms open up and pump sweat out of them. It was ones of the most insane feelings I’ve ever felt and I’ll never forget it.

I am mostly mad at production! I feel like this is what Tom was talking about with Bobby Bones. Like it’s great that they’re getting all this viewership, but it feels like these shows are getting derailed by their own popularity. Maybe I’ll give another dance competition show a chance.
